Battle of Kalren City(1)

*Boom!*

When the flying monster reached the wall, the whole city saw how they clashed against the defenders.

At the same time, they saw many of the flying monsters bypassing the wall and flying inside the city.

"By the Gods!" One of the citizens opened his eyes wide in fear. He could see the black cloud of monsters flying towards them.

Almost instantly, all the people that were still on the streets ran inside their houses. Fear and panic filled the city.

Only a few people stayed outside, of which Marcel and Brock were two of them.

"Brock, one of the surveillance drones spotted two beings. They are clashing right now." Basically said as he watched the footage of two beings fighting, each clash of their attacks caused massive shockwaves that seem to create hurricanes and cause a static to the drone. 

"How strong?"

"Dragon Ball Z level type bullshit."

Brock narrowed his eyes, "Demigods? This is the first time I'm seeing one right now. The monsters have those planet busting fighters?"

"I fear so."

"Darn..." Brock furrowed his brows. It seemed that this battle was going to be much tougher than he expected.

"Marcel, do you think Xavier can kill an A-rank monster?" Moo asked. 

Basically shrugged, "Unless having good ass equipment and weapons, including enhanced potions to buff his stats, I think possibly."

Moo's expression turned complicated, but he knew his friend was right.

"Alright then, Let's go and beat up some animals then?

"Yeah, we shall fuck some animals till we pissed off every Animal Welfare Organization!"

"Hell yeah!"

The Iron Golem then grab the two and put them onto its shoulders, the golem then rushed towards the nearest flying monster.

At the same time, Basically pulls out a M107 .50 Cal Sniper Rifle from his inventory and aims it at the sky.

His eyes were as calm as a lake. He raised the weapon, aimed towards one of the birds and-

The first bullet was shot, and the first monster fell in the next instant.

"Boom, headshot!" Marcel's expression gabe out an exciting look after killing his first beast. Afterwards, he professionally aimed at his next target and pulled the trigger once more.

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

The process repeated several times. Astonishingly, Basically did not fail even once despite most of the monsters being far away and moving in the air. Each monster was killed with the first shot.

'Jesus Christ, he's definitely using Aimbot.' Moo thought, feeling so surprised on seeing the dark skin man's accurate shots. 

Including the people in charge of killing the monsters that bypassed the defenses were surprised. They did not know who was killing the monsters, but they were in awe of his skills.

Each time, they only managed to see a blue ray charging towards the sky at supersonic speed. Every time, the blue ray would hit the monster's head. Even when the monsters tried to evade, it was as though the projectile knew where the monster was going to move.

But soon, stronger and stronger monsters started to appear.

When the first D-rank flying monster (Rank 5-6) entered the city, the bullets failed for the first time.

The monster seemed to detect danger ahead of time, twisting its body in a blur and was able to avoid the bullet just when it was about to hit it.

Then, the monster looked at the ground and locked into its enemy. 

When it saw the two, Basically pulled the Sniper's Bolt Handle, letting out a bullet case with magic runes in it shot out to the side of the gun, when the bullet dropped to the ground, Basically pushed the Bolt Handle, letting another magic enhanced .50 Cal near the barrel.

"Dodge this." 

And like that, Basically immediately pressed the trigger again.

The magic enhanced bullet flew, but the bird rotated in the air to evade the attack. 

"Shit, he did dodge it again."

Next, the D-rank flying monster dived towards the duos.

"Brock!" Basically anxiously aimed again and called out to his partner. Moo nodded and pulled out a weapon.

Pulling the trigger, a mass of energy was shot towards the flying monster!

The flying monster narrowed its eyes. Just like last time, it rotated its body airborne and evaded the laser. But-

The pillar of energy flew straight to the place where the bird evaded, hitting it on the chest.

*Screech!*

With a short scream of pain, the flying bird crashed against the ground and stopped moving.

"Next one."

Basically and Moo shot and killed monster after monster. It was as though they were killing insects instead of powerful beasts.

Their killing rate was overwhelming!

But in the end, four hands were not enough to change the situation.

"Damn it, the number of monsters is increasing too quickly." Basically said with furrowed brows, "At this rate, we will be unable to take care of them before they reach us."

Moo did not reply, but he knew that Marcel was right.

At the start, their advanced guns were enough to keep the flying monsters at bay. But currently, more and more monsters have managed to cause damage to the city.

Now, they could see more than ten clouds of smoke in different parts of the city. They did not need to think too much to know that fierce battles were being waged in these places.

Moreover, perhaps because their killings were too notorious, many monsters had put their eyes on them.

With a cry, a group of bat-like beasts attacked them. In fact, those are the same bat-like creatures during the first wave, but several times weaker.

"Uhh, give us a break!" Moo groaned, and Marcel took a step forward before he could move.

"Brock, leave them to me. You focus on shooting them."

"Roger that!" Brock did not hesitate to put his trust in him.

The bats were very fast, and their movements were unpredictable. Besides, they used sound waves to confuse the enemy.

But none of these was a problem for Marcel as he uses his skill [Mind Acceleration] for the third time.

Now the Quicksilver thing is back at action, Marcel starting to calculate his next move, no matter what circumstances it's in.

Taking out his enchanted Netherite and Diamond Sword from his inventory, Marcel jumped.

One movement of one of his blades bisected a monster. Another bat tried to use the fact that he was in the air to attack him, but Marcel kicked the corpse of the bat he just killed and changed his direction, passing below the new bat and slicing its belly open.

In an instant, he pulls out an enchanted bow and arrow and does a 360°, the enchanted arrow flies towards another bat that planned to attack.

With a disgusting sound, the arrow pierced the bat's neck and pinned it to a wall.

With such impossible-like movements, Basically continued moving in the air. Sometimes, he kicked a wall, sometimes, he kicked a corpse, sometimes, he kicked a branch. However, he always managed to evade the bat's attacks before killing them.

Even when the bats tried to get out of his range, he pulled an enchanted crossbow or an enchanted bow and shot the bastards.

Meanwhile, Moo looked at the scene in awe while he aimed and pressed the trigger of his weapon.

The metallic golem nodded and kicked the ground, leaving a small crater behind as it then started to run through the empty streets of the city as the two rode the metallic humanoid on its shoulders while the metallic beast itself killed any monsters and magic beasts in its path.

And when any flying beast was foolish enough to attack the golem, it would use its metallic arms to show them it was not any weaker than its human friends.

The battles through the city intensified. The number of monsters grew exponentially, and cries and screams of pain filled the streets.

Basically wrinkled his brows. He could see the situation was quickly worsening. Just the flying monsters were much greater than anticipated.

And at that moment.

*Booooooom!*

A strong impact shook the city.

The city walls trembled. Some of the adventurers fighting on the walls fell to the ground, and pieces of debris crumbled from the city walls.

Finally, the main attacking force of the monster wave had reached the city.
