Take Her Away

Damien was with Alicia beside him in his car as he drove to the Robbert Family Mansion. Alicia's jaw dropped when she saw how big it was.

"Dad, does mommy really live here?" she started amiring the mansion from afar.

"Yes sweetheart." he said as he parked his car outside and called Iris and she answered.

"I'm in front of your gate" Damien said and she hung up. After a while she came out and went to their car.

Damien came down with Alicia and her suitcase. "Take care honey" Damien hugged her before handing her suitcase to Iris and glanced at her for a minute before leaving.

Iris held Alicia's hands as they went into the mansion, all eyes were on Alicia, all the maids started whispering about her. Some said Iris finally adopted a child, she heard them but didn't pay attention.

Inside the living room her parents and Darby were having a family meeting on the company when they saw Iris come in with a random kid in her arms. Darby was the only one who recognized her from the audition held at their company and she smirked knowing all the trouble coming towards Iris.

"Iris, who owns that kid. you know you can't just bring a random kid into our home" Angela said but Iris didn't reply she didn't like the fact that Alicia was listening to all the things her parents were saying so she called a maid.

"Take her to my room" Iris said and handed Alicia's suitcase to the maid then the maid took Alicia upstairs.

"We're still waiting for a reply Iris" Darby said smirking intensely

"Mom, Dad, she's my daughter not just any random kid" Iris said

"What?! Who's the father? Is it Jake?" Mark asked excited but she didn't reply and his smile faded away. "Iris, if it isn't Jake then who?" He asked

"Mom, Dad, it's not Jake it's Damien" she said and her mom broke down in tears while her Dad consoled her

"How could you Iris? And that girl looks like she's 5 or 6 which means it was during your college years" Angela said in-between her tears.

"Yes mom but it doesn't matter. I'm old enough to decide what I wanna do" she said

"Old enough? You're totally immature. Your mom and I aren't gonna accept her as our granddaughter so you better take her back to Damien and never speak about the is in front of Jake or his Dad" Mark said and Iris was surprised at her parents behavior. She didn't know they were like this just like Darby.

"If she can't stay then I won't either" Iris said finally making up her mind. She was already tired of getting pushed around to do stuff like a kid

"Iris don't be crazy. Just take her back to the place you go her from. We can't accept her what will the media say about this?" Mark said

"Fine." she said and started going upstairs. She saw Alicia in her room watching TV and she went to her.

"I have something to tell you honey" Iris said sitting next to her

"Sure" Alicia said staring at Iris "Anything Mom" Alicia said. Whenever Alicia calls her Mom it just makes her happy. She was glad that Alicia wasn't mad at her for not showing up all this while.

"So...Would you like it if we go on a little Vacation?" she asked and Alicia smiled widely

"Of course mom." she said

"I knew you would say yes. We're going to be staying in a hotel until your Dad comes home. Wait for me, I have to go pack my stuff" Iris said and she nodded then she went into her closet and brought out all her suitcases and packed all her belongings leaving nothing behind.

Alicia stopped watching TV and was busy observing all the things Iris was doing.

"Mom? Why so you have so much clothes and make-up and accessories?" Alicia asked

"When you finally become a singer you will know" Iris answered.

When she was done packing she went downstairs called on of her body guard to her room while her parents and Darby were still talking about business they didn't notice.

She gave the bodyguard her car key and he took all her suitcases and Alicia's own too. He carried all of it to her car while he was going with on of Iris suitcase Darby saw it.

"Hey! Come here" Darby said and the bodyguard came to her while her parents stared

"Doesn't that belong to Iris?" she asked pointing at the suitcase

"Yes ma'am, she instructed me to load them up in her car" he said and she shooed him away with her hands.

"Is Iris leaving?"Angela asked then Iris acme downstairs with Alicia.

"You said you were taking her back but you two are leaving" Mark said in full disappointment

"I said 'Fine' as in 'Fine' I'm leaving you guys" Iris said and she didn't wait for them to answer she just left with Alicia and drove off.
