Jealousy

Darby was sitting on her bed after dressing up, she was doing a research on Simon's death but found nothing all she found was that he was found dead In his driveway but Gage gave a report that Simon left late in the night but didn't say where he was going.

She sighed before dropping her phone on her bed. It was none of her business, Soon Gage will be the new President of their country and Iris will be the first lady. Just thinking of that made Darby feel like puking, she couldn't believe he was in love with Iris.

Someone knocked on her door while she was still lost on thoughts

"Come in" she said and a maid came in bowing slightly

"What?" she asked "Ma'am, Miss Iris is home" The maid said

"And why are you telling me? Look if you don't have anything better to do then come give me a pedicure" Darby said

"I'm s... sorry ma'am, I can't give you a pedicure, I'm making lunch" The maid said trying not to look her in the eye

"I was kidding, don't tell me you think I would actually let your filthy hands touch my feets. Now leave and next time don't come in if you don't have something good to say" Darby said and the maid left highly embarrassed.

Darby wore her flip flops and went downstairs where Iris was hugging Angela.

"Mom, where's Tiana?" Iris asked looking around but when her eyes met Darby she went to her instead.

"Ooh, looks like you two needs to catch-up, I'll leave you two alone" Angela said before going upstairs

"I'm sure you and Damien are now together." Iris said

"Why do you care? Haven't you heard your sweetheart is alive?" she asked "Or Gage. your other sweetheart"

"Gage? you mean the future President? How do you know?" she asked

"He told me your his love, he loves you and no one else." Darby said and Iris could see the jealousy in her sister's eyes

"Look if you want Gage you can have him." Iris said waiting to see Darby's reaction

"Want him? What do you think of me? Jake is waiting for you so get going" Darby said and Iris stared at her for a long while before leaving the house
