Merry breakfast

Zaros stood numb at his mother's words.

"Mom! How could you do this to me!?" Zaros yelled forgetting that his mother caught him with his wife all naked and steamy.

Adira had already slipped into the dressing room when Eudora turned to leave. She felt her heart was going to burst out due to the series of incidents that happened.

A glance at her husband reminded her of the small burst out she had earlier because of him. Her face turned red all of a sudden. And it went poof when her mother-in-law caught her in an embarrassing situation. All because of her stupid husband!

Hmph! She will make things hard for him! She will get revenge from him for what he did.

If he let her go and allowed her to change her clothes when she tried to escape this thing wouldn't have happened. Now, she couldn't show her face to her mother-in-law!

This was so embarrassing!!!!

While Adira was still cursing Zaros and Eudora were involved in a staring competition.

"You will move out," Eudora said without breaking the eye contact.

"No!" Zaros said through his gritted teeth.

"You do know I never consider others' responses or opinions when I already made a decision. Get ready to move out willingly or unwillingly," Eudora said rolling her eyes at her son.

"Mom, I am newly married. I only got to kiss her till now. If you do this, she will drift away from me again," Zaros put his pretense aside as he started begging.

"That can wait. I don't care how you deal with your body. But you will not touch her till your first day," Eudora said.

"Mom…. if we both stay away, who will take care of her?" he asked like a whiny child.

"If you are that worried, she will live in my chambers from now on. Or I will move into these chambers. Is that okay?" Eudora asked raising her brow.

"Either way she won't live with me!" Zaros said as he narrowed his eyes feeling displeased.

"Indeed. Now, go dress up," Eudora said.

"How could you be so heartless, mom?" Zaros asked dramatically.

"The same way I have been for centuries," She said and walked out before he could utter more nonsense.

Zaros stomped his foot like a child and went inside the dressing room only to find his wife was trying to tie the strings at the back of her gown.

The earlier annoyance that he felt went poof when he saw her like that. Walking behind her, he dropped a kiss on her exposed back making her turn towards him swiftly.

Adira didn't expect this from her husband.

"Wh-what are you d-doing?" she asked stuttering. He walked closer to her as she placed his hands on her waist. Adira doesn't know how to respond now. She felt like she was trapped in his arms. These days whenever he gets time, he was always in attack mode with her.

Her heart was beating louder as his hands moved back of her gown further. She gulped a mouthful of saliva, making him smirk at her proudly.

"I-I need to l-leave," she said.

"I am not stopping you," he said huskily in her ear.

"Bu-but yo-you is done… *gasp*" before she could say something she gassed when he tied the strings of her gown tightly.

"Done, My Love," he said as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"I will leave then," she said.

"What? I helped you. You should reward me," he pouted at her giving her a mini-heart attack with his dangerously handsome actions.

"What do you want?" she asked.

He moved his face closer to her face and tapped on his lips, making her blush.

"But mom is waiting for me," she replied.

"A single kiss won't hurt. Between mom saw us already. No need to feel shy," he said which only made her get angry.

Anger surged in her veins at that mention. She pushed him angrily and was about to leave when he stopped her by holding her hand out.

"What's wrong?" he asked with furrowed brows.

"It's all because of you! If not I would get dressed. Mom wouldn't have seen me like that! Hmph! Don't touch me for one month!" she replied and went out as she stopped like a child leaving a speechless Zaros.

Zaros: "..." What just happened?

Soon they reached the dining hall.

Lenora was all smiles when she reached the dining hall. She looked so sunny and bright that blinded them.

"Good Night, everyone," Lenora greeted with a relaxed and genuine smile on her face.

"You seem happy, Sister-in-law. Something good happened?" Adira asked with a smile.

"No. I don't know, I feel happy today. Everything seems positive today. My heart is feeling happy and relaxed," Lenora replied with a smile.

"Good to hear that," Adira said.

"And I can see that King Valorine annoyed you for real good," Lenora marked exposing them.

"I am innocent," Zaros said clearing his throat.

"Her annoyed expression says everything," Lenora marked with her narrowed eyes.

"He is the culprit!" Adira dumped him in the pit mercilessly.

"I know," Lenora said rolling her eyes.

"Hey, you all are ganging up against me," Zaros said trying to act hurt.

"Stop acting. I caught you red-handedly. It's your fault," Eudora joined the fun. Adira blushed at her words but tried to act normal.

"You are blushing!" Serene and Lenora yelled together.

"I didn't," Adira tried to deny.

"Mom, what happened in the morning?" Lenora asked with a smile that screamed mischievousness.

She smiled at Lenora and turned her face towards Serene.

"Serene, we should have fixed the first-day date for Adira and Zaros too," Eudora said with a smile.

Her words enlightened the people at the dining table.

Lenora's eyes went to Adira's neck which has a slight hickey on her neck. And to prove that Eudora was right, she was blushing like a tomato.

"Ohhhhhhh….. Haye…. Looks like some injustice was done to the Vampire King," Lenora teased.

"Right!? I feel that too. And mom wants me to move out from my wife's chambers!" Zaros complained as if he found a way to tackle the situation.

"That is injustice for you!" Lenora supported him and turned toward her mother.

"Mom, that's cruel for him but…. He deserved that," she said with a mischievous smile.

Zaros held his chest in pain for the betrayal.

The dining table was filled with laughter and chatter after a long while. There was only happiness all because of Lenora. Lenora failed to notice the changes that were happening with her but others surely did. The changes in her bought happiness, and laughter around them.Along with them… there was some other one who noticed too.

Eudora felt happy about her daughter's changes. This was a good thing. Everyone had their breakfast and left.
