Court Sessions (2)

"In fact, the pact which you Vampire Elders claim to be sabotaged by our future queen is actually saved by her. She saved Vampire King and avoided the almost happened war between two races. She avoided the blood shed, wars, and the possible chaos in the two races. All I see some groundless claims from Vampire side," Lord Gary said as he joined the drama from Werewolf side.

"Then Lords from Werewolf race shall know that even our Vampire King didn't make any fuss about all the accusations that were put on him about the unfair allegations which were thrown on him because our future queen fell sick!" Elder Evans pointed as he yelled slightly as he drove the conversation into a heated path.

"Nobody said a thing that meant that Vampire King abused our princess. When that happens, we all know that you wouldn't be standing with your heads intact," Lord Gary said making them lower their heads in shame. But before they could say something Lord Gary continued further.

"Maybe the Vampires shall take responsibility for the delayed coronation too instead of throwing mud on our race," Lord Gary continued as he pointed another knot.

"Maybe it would be good if the werewolf Elders use their bit of intelligence before they ask us about taking responsibility, when the Vampire King and Vampire Queen got sick one after other, how could the coronation happen? Won't be offending our race?" Elder Davis said.

"Maybe you should say th—," before Lord Lancaster say something a voice stopped them.

"Enough!" Maximus's voice rang throughout the courtroom. It's not in a human voice. It's a mix of both their human and his beast side. One can say that he was going mad now.

Why won't he?

The debate was going into the path of insults. This wouldn't be any good to both races!

Zaros heaved a relieved sigh when Maximus stopped at the right time. This court session was a play for citizens. In fact, this was arranged by both Zaros and Maximus, to clear the rumors. And there were many negative rumors going against Lenora. So, they both planned these with their men from both sides under a deal.

"Are you all done?" Maximus asked looking at everyone in the room with his sharp gaze. No one answered his question. They lowered their heads slightly as they felt scared of him.

"Are you all done or not!?" he yelled as he continued to look at them.

"Lord and Elders, I will not take names. Be it Vampira or Werewolfia.... we are supposed to discuss things in the court not argue or throw insults. And you all are older than me! Why do you all act like a bunch of tantrum-throwing toddlers!!!" Maximus shouted as he threw a deadly glare at them.

"I will not allow any of you to act like this anymore! I hope you all act like some bunch of adults instead of toddlers!" Maximus warned. His eyes were the reflection of a burning fire with an orange and black mixture that scared the people present there.

"As for all the questions, I will answer all your questions and doubts!" Maximus said.

"This is what I want. I will answer all your questions and doubts!" Zaros answered.

"First, I will apologize for all the things that happened because of me knowingly or unknowingly," he said as he bowed in a ninety-degree bow.

One thing is for sure their beloved princess has suffered in his hands which was something even he couldn't deny. And they were all just stating it.

"In the past two months, I didn't remember what happened. Now I recovered them. I realized my behavior changed which wasn't noticed by me or anyone here. I know it's not my fault or anybodys. That day If I have been careful and noticed this ring when I was wearing it. This thing wouldn't have happened. As a king, I should have been careful.

"What can I do when my beautiful bride is waiting for me? And it's the same day I gifted something to her. I know she would be wearing that for me to see. The stupid me," Zaros said with a smirk as he took her palm into his hand, only to get slapped by her. He just chuckled at her instead of getting mad.

"Aww... my wife is shy. Let's not bring her into this anymore," he said earning a fit of giggles from everyone.

"The ring also led to my wife's suffering. Even she fell sick the day before I fell sick," Zaros continued.

"And then when I went to have a conversation with my sister, something happened with my body and I collapsed. My sister isn't responsible for anything that happened to me on that day. It's just my body couldn't take the negative energy anymore.

"High priestess came to me on the pleadings of my sister and detoxified the negative energy from me. Which then put me back into the normal," he explained.

"No one is responsible for the things that happened. It's just that... the other races are trying to break the pact between our two races. King Maximus Elisaveta and I will personally be involved in this case to solve the people who are behind this," Zaros said.

"Now, we shall stop with all this blame game since the Vampire King clarified things AGAIN to you all even after High Priestess did," Maximus said.

Since Maximus started talking then there is no point in him standing and clear things. The moment he sat down, he saw his wife was looking at him dazedly. He just winked at her and held her hand entwining his fingers with her. She blushed at his actions.

"Also... I would like to thank my wife for standing up for our Werewolf race when the Werewolves are blamed about that nasty ring," Maximus said.

After that Maximus credited Lenora for all the deeds she did. And he made sure everyone respect her with his orders. All things were cleared before the coronation for them apart from the First day issue.
