His and Hers

"What is your problem?" Wednesday question, her forearm pressed into the neck of Dracul as she held him against the wall in the dark corner she pulled him into.

Him looking down at her and her looking up at him.

"Well, that escalated quickly," He could not help but dead-pan in obvious Wednesday fashion.

Her brows slightly furrowed for a split second. He knew she was not used to a person not even being slightly off-put by her, outside of her family. It was throwing her off.

"I asked nicely. The next time, I will ask even nicer. So nice in fact, you'll give me a your blood as a thank you." She threatened. A threat that he was pretty sure was a rip-off of something he said back in his days of impaling others, but you know what they say, there is nothing new. And back then, he came up with some very creative threats.

"What's this about Wednesday?" Dracul questioned, his brows knit as he looked into her eyes, seemingly sincerely imploring her for answers. "Is it the declaration of my intention to stalk you, or is it the fact that I, I believe, just made you feel a tingle of fear a moment ago?" He finished, his mouth spread in a look of pure joy, as he were having a great ol' time.

Wednesday continued to stare into his eyes. Her forearm pressing even harder into his throat. He was sure he would be suffocating if he were not, well, him.

Then, inspiration struck.

He, for the first time since awakening revealed his true nature, to another. The mist surrounding the two making it so that no one outside could see, as he kept his presence suppressed to where even she could not feel it. Very few living were ready to feel what flowed naturally off of him when he let his true form grace the world.

His eyes mutated. His sclera became black, irises red, and slit pupils an even darker shade of black than his sclera.

His canines lengthened to points that should not be able to fit inside a closed mouth.

His caramel epidermis took on a faint glow for a moment, only to dim, leaving his skin smoother, clearer, and many times tougher.

His flowing, curly coiled hair, some strands hanging on their own and others combined into silky dreadlocks, flowed down his back and over his shoulders.

His body grew slightly taller as Wednesday's arm could no longer press into his neck, only his solid chest, as he bent forward, bringing his face inches from her own.

His eyes searching hers.

Her face gave nothing away, but he could smell her interest. Her curiosity. Her fear. Her desire. Her lust.

He felt himself growing tense. His stomach tightening in on itself as he exhaled one quick breath, not daring to breath in again.

He took on his true form simply to play with her. Perhaps produce a little more fear. He knew how much she enjoyed being truly afraid.

However, no part of him expected or was ready to encounter her lust.

He could see in her eyes that she was just as confused as he was, only he knew the reason for her confusion. He knew this was the first time she had felt true lust. She never had an interest in anatomy beyond understanding ways to exploit or examine and she certainly had not taken an interest in sex.

He moved his face forward, only a hair's breath away from his nose touching hers, however she did not move back.

He could hear her heart pounding in her chest. If he allowed his heart to beat, he knew his would be just as loud.

In that moment, he knew that his decision was correct.

This girl was his. And he was hers.

He could smell her fear becoming more prominent, followed by her lust.

Of course, his Wednesday would get turned on while being afraid.

Still her face showed nothing, but he knew that she wanted to run.

Her eyes had lost their sharpness, her mind running too fast for her to process.

{Wednesday.}

She snapped back into focus.

All her being immediately becoming sharp once again.

He watched as her eyes lost their confusion and anger took its place.

Rage.

She reared back and surged forward in one fluid motion. He softened the area around his forehead, knowing what's coming.

*Bam*

Their foreheads met.

Dracul's head flew back, smacking the wall behind him, his eyes remaining on her the entire time, as he saw her close her eyes in pain.

His features immediately took on their more "human" appearance. Still incredibly attractive, but more debonair bad boy and less elegant dark Prince, with a capital P.

She brought her hand to her forehead, checking it for blood, and proceeding to once again glare at him, as if it were his fault that she decided to dive headfirst into a contest of who had the harder head. Admirable, but a foolish endeavor.

"Are you alright?" He asked her, genuinely concerned, and questioning her tactical execution in his mind.

Her face relaxed. Her eyes once again took on their usual haunted appearance, as if her head were not still throbbing in pain.

"My well being is none of your concerned," she monotoned with her voice somewhere a mix between a demand and a threat, all without a single change in pitch. Such a great talent.

"Perhaps, but as the one who has acquired my attention, it would do me no good if you were to drop dead from blunt force trauma to the head. I've been told my mind is a gift worth protecting. Thus, very thick skull." Dracul, once again donned his relaxed expression, with a half smile and partially narrowed eyes, tapping his index finger to his forehead.

He wondered if he did the right thing. Using the voice of Vlad to snap her out of it.

Mostly, because he was not certain whether or not he pulled her from her spiral for her or because it was he, himself, who felt something of a swirl.

Either way, that was an event more dangerous, and far more exciting, than he had anticipated this early in their interactions.

However, early or not, we feel what we feel. There is not much of a point in attempting to control or analyzing every little thing. Especially when it comes to trying to control or analyze Wednesday Addams.

Wednesday has a habit of being completely predictable and unpredictable all in the same moment.

Attempting to understand woman is a game that men have failed to win even before he was born, and they will continue to fail for many generations to come. And those are only the basic bitches. Understanding the exceptional and understanding the basics are two different monsters all together and Wednesday is no basic.

Wednesday took him in. The same look on her face as when she first told him her name in Weems' office. Head partially lowered, eyes looking up, and an expression that could mean everything and nothing.

"This is not over."

And with that promised, she turned and left to do what? Only she knows...but probably to see her family off and get ready to start her new adventure.

However, only she knows.

Wednesday: {You have been silent for a while. What has your time so occupied? Making new friends in the world?} She dead-panned through the connection in her mind.

Vlad: {As a matter of fact, I have, Ms. Addams. Since, like I have said, I am definitely not a spirit.}

Wednesday: {Sure.}

Vlad: {Correct me if I'm wrong, but are perhaps fuming at the moment?}

Wednesday: {I thought you said you will no longer feel what I feel, for some reason?}

Vlad: {I cannot feel, however I can intuit. Now, tell me, what has you so ready for war, despite only just arriving at your new school?}

Wednesday: {.....I..do not know.}

Vlad: {Well. That is far less articulate than I am used to hearing you, little poet.}

Wednesday: {I met someone...odd.}

Vlad: {Odd how?}

Wednesday: {They were just odd. The way they talked, walked, looked around, it was all just odd.}

Vlad: {I can see this is really frustrating you. Not being able to put it into words is a new experience. Is it perhaps, a boy?}

Wednesday: {Yes. An odd one. I think he is powerful. Really powerful. He did something. Transformed in some way and whatever form he took. felt dangerous. Though, he always felt dangerous, from the moment I saw him, he felt dangerous, like everything about him was just..bigger...than it was supposed to be. I've never experienced anything like it. He might be a new type of outcast. One that I have never seen.}

Vlad: {Describe the transformation.}

Wednesday: {His eyes went from golden brown, mostly human looking, just a bit shinier and deeper ones, to the sclera turning black, the iris red, and the pupils became feline with a darker shade of black than his pitch black sclera, which seems impossible, but I could tell. His teeth...they were only barely visible, but from what I could glimpse they had grown longer, too long, like fangs, but no vampire's fangs could get that long from what I have read. His skin glowed for a moment and when it stopped, it seemed healthier, and smoother. His hair stayed mostly the same, only I'm pretty sure it got shinier, maybe thicker and longer. Lastly, his body. He grew at least three inches in the span of a few seconds. His shoulders and chest expanded, however the muscle definition that I saw through his partially unbuttoned shirt got denser. That is all I could gather.}

Vlad: {Hmmm. I have heard something of this. However, it is very old, incredibly so, and it was supposed to be long dead. Never to walk amongst the living again. Do you want to hear about it?}

Wednesday: {...No. I will figure it out on my own.}

Vlad: {If he is as powerful as you say, what is to stop him from harming you before you can get close enough to figure anything out?}

Wednesday: {Do not worry. I have a plan. Besides, he seems to have an interest in me, that I cannot explain.}

Vlad: {And, do you have an interest in him, that you cannot explain? On second thought, don't tell me. I will just wait for the events to unfold before I get the tea.}

Wednesday: {What tea?}

Vlad: { "___" }.
