Despite Persephone's warning, we remained in the Underworld for several days, exploring its many mysteries and marveling at its strange beauty. We visited the River Styx and gazed into its dark, swirling waters. We wandered through the Fields of Asphodel, where the souls of the dead wandered aimlessly. We even ventured into Tartarus itself, the deepest and most terrifying part of the Underworld.
Throughout it all, we encountered many strange and wonderful creatures - ghosts and ghouls, demons and devils, even the occasional fabled monster of legend. They all looked upon us with suspicion and hostility, but we managed to avoid their wrath through a combination of stealth and cunning.
As the days passed, however, we began to realize the true danger of our situation. Persephone's warning had not been idle - the gods and goddesses were not to be taken lightly.
