The Uprising 4 - Second Half

Louis: What! No! An-And all of you knew this. Including you, Ida? Of course, you knew, you were with Everest for three years.

Ida: Louis it's not what you thi--

Louis: -No, no, no, no, no. Does your father know that you're alive? Does your family know?

Max: No. They don't

Louis: I'm pretty sure they have looked for you for years and you have not shown yourself to them! Even after knowing that your father has been sick, and his condition has been worsening over the past ten years.

Max: I do it to protect the--

Louis: --No! You don't do it to protect them but because you're selfish. Do you know where my father is?

Max: No, I don't.

Louis: Neither do I. If I knew my father was sick and I had the chance to see him, I'd it! But you, you're just selfish.

Martha: Louis Max has his reasons for doing what he did.

Max: Louis! Listen, I am going to run my last test on this Deadly Warrior and if it doesn't work, then I will dispose of their bodies and will not run any more tests. Now get the hell out of my lab! I don't want to see you or anyone entering this lab.

Louis threw the syringe and left the room and Ida followed him, trying to comfort him. Penny, Lenny and Mary went to the main room, checking through the city on the monitors and making sure that everything was okay. Martha and Jack remained in the lab with Max.

Max: I thought I said get out of this room.

Jack: Look, Max, we know how you must be feeling

Max: I did not want Louis to find out this way

Martha: Max, Sorry about what you're going through, but how sure are you this drug won't have any negative effects on the Deadly Warriors?

Max: The Deadly Warriors are dead! They are not coming back! Now leave!

Martha and Jack left the room and left Max in the lab. Max picked up the syringe and injected the Deadly Warrior, Arthur. Arthur woke up and started screaming in pain. Foam started coming out of Arthur's mouth and his eyes and ears started bleeding until eventually, Arthur died. Max's sixth test failed. He activated his suit and took all six bodies to a faraway river and threw them in it. Everest got back and destroyed his lab out of anger.

Martha and Jack were with the Blood Sisters in the main room, still making sure the city is safe. Louis was arguing with Ida in their room.

Louis: I can't believe you knew but didn't tell me

Ida: Louis, it wasn't my secret to tell.

Louis: But you know how much I spoke about him and how much I would love to have him here to see help out with the team and all

Ida: Well, you had him! I don't even know why you're complaining, Louis! You know now and obviously he didn't want to tell you becau-

Louis: -Because of what? Because of some damn news article from the future that is said to happen five years from now. Looks like the future has cha-

Jack: (Running in corridor screaming) Ma-M-Ev-Everest! Louis! Ida! Hurry! Come down here! You have to see this.

Everest rushed out of his room, Louis and Ida also rushed down to the main room. They saw Martha, Jack, Penny, Lenny and Mary all standing looking at the monitors.

Everest: What are we looking at?

Jack: First of all, why are you in your suit when everyone already knows who you are.

Louis: He knows he's not that good looking.

Martha: Louis.

Louis: What it's true.

Everest: I just don't want to risk exposing my identity in front of anyone else. I'm prepared for anything. Now, Jack what do we have here.

Jack: Y'all came in looking shocked and you mean to tell me you do not recognize the woman who's just standing, looking at our building?

Louis: Doesn't look familiar to me.

Mary: Maybe because you were too busy arguing with Everest. The woman who has just been standing, looking at this building is Nancy Jensen.

Ida: As in-

Lenny: Yes! The same Nancy, the Deadly Warrior we found dead in Everest's lab.

Louis: (Looks at Everest) Well, would you look at that.

Penny: It's pretty obvious she's up to no good.

Everest: We'll only know if we go out there. Louis, Jack, suit up. We're going first. Ida, Lenny and Mary, remain on the console, Martha and Penny, you stay on the lookout. If things go south, Martha use your power to hold her right leg down and Penny use yours to hold her left leg down. We'll take care of the rest. Suit up.

Everest, The Controller and Ace exited the building and walked towards Nancy. The three walked slow and kept quite a distance with Everest in the middle, The Controller on the left and Ace on the right.

Everest: Nancy, right? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be-you're not supposed to be here.

Ace: In short, he's trying to say, you should be dead!

The Controller: Guys, where are your manners? Hi Nancy, I'm the Controller, that loser to my far right is Ace and this is-

Nancy: I know who you are.

The Controller: Pleased to meet a fan.

Nancy: Who you really are!

Ace: What!?

Nancy: Jack King, Louis Thomas, and Maxwell Rivers. You know, maybe you shouldn't talk about all your problems in front of people who you thought were dead. How's your father, Max?

Everest: Don't you talk about my father! What the hell do you want!?

Nancy: Who, me? It's actually quite simple. That cure of yours, I want it! And you, you're gonna give it to me!

Everest: That's not a cure. It'll just kill you. You will not be having it.

Nancy: It will kill me? But why am I alive and better than ever? Increased strength twice more than that of an ordinary Deadly Warrior, High IQ levels, increased senses. The one you gave Sir Arthur is the strongest, give it to me peacefully and I won't have to use force.

Ace: What, you think you can kill us?

The Controller: For your own information, you're a woman! We're men. Three of us!

Insecticator on comms: C! So what if she's a woman? You think Ida, Penny, Lenny, Mary and I are men?

The Controller: Uh, so Nancy, how are you? (Grins)

Nancy: Give me the Super Deadly Warrior Drug!

Ace: The super what? That's what we're calling it now?

Everest: If you want it, you're going to have to go through us.

Nancy: You boys are really going to choose the hard way? Fine! Have it your way!
