Their ticket out
The shadowy figure stood in front of her, a casual aura enveloping the man as he seemingly came to defend her. Not that Raine needed defending. She had the situation under control.
"You… What are you doing here?!"
The newcomer simply flashed a smirk as he held Sasha's hand at bay, his claws digging into her flesh as he silently took the woman down. Raine could only watch in awe from where she was still lying down, her current movements slowing down as she quickly assessed the threat level of this stranger.
"You!-"
The other mutant couldn't even finish his sentence when the stranger suddenly kicked him in the shins. Falling down, the mutant was then bashed right behind his skill, completely knocking him down on the floor.
The sound of gunshots echoed throughout the silence, Raine dumbstruck at what just happened.
"You might want to wrap this up," the stranger casually reminded. "Reinforcements are coming."
