How to rescue a sister

Ian's POV

/"Why is he here?/"

I ignored Gabrielle's question and gestured at Jason to have a seat. He complied immediately.

/"Zara, please get me a soda./" I dropped like a bomb on a sofa, heaving a sigh of relief.

Gabrielle stormed in my direction, bent her back foward and pointed at Jason. /"Why don't you have his head in your hands?/"

/"Watch your tone pretty, remember you're in my house./"

/"A house you kidnapped and locked me in./"

Zara shoved past her and handed me a soda can. I hurriedly opened it, a sizzling noise filled everywhere. Gulping down as much as I could, I held a hand on my head. The drink seemed to calm down my headache.

/"Ian, you haven't answered me./" She sighed and placed both hands on her hips. /"The killer of my sister is here in our midst and he's not dead./"
