#Chapter21
Kids are stubborn
Scott's POV
The bells of the cafe door chimed as we walked in. The strong whiff of caffeine graced the air and I inhaled deeply. It's been long since I had coffee. I didn't even know the academy had a cafe. The place seemed to have everything.
By the entrance was a counter with a glass compartment. Pastries of different types fully stocked the compartment. But the doughnuts were the ones that made me drool. They had sprinkles on them. We skirted past the round tables and sat at one next to a window.
Sighing, Hannah glanced around. The place was filled with students mingling and drinking their coffee. At a corner, a ginger haired girl sat with a novel in her hands. Her eyes went over the book, her whole mind invested in it.
/"That's Danica, the dead guy's sister,/" Hannah said looking at her.
/"Are you sure this is a good idea?/" I asked. /"Ian told us not to tell anyone about it./"
