Demons were the creatures of hell. They came in hordes to destroy the world, and the last time, it was a sage who defeated them.

Aru had come across many snippets of information when he asked about demons. He wanted to learn more about them to find a way to defeat them. However, most of the information he received was worthless. No one had a comprehensive grasp of what a demon truly was or why they came to this world.

Despite the confusion, Aru was sure that demons were not the simple creatures described in myths and legends. He had encountered a group of intelligent demons in the past, which completely disproved the vast majority of the myths he had heard.

After all, intelligent creatures usually have a purpose. Whether that purpose was good or bad, they needed one to get things done. So, Aru decided to see demons as creatures with a purpose rather than something akin to a natural disaster.
