A couple of hours later, Aru and his group found themselves on a large mountain. Beyond the mountain was an expansive plain that stretched out for dozens of kilometres.
It was extremely cold on the mountain and the path was made of road built near cliff edges. As the warrior from the Blue Hound tribe said, the path was not made for large beasts to travel.
However, with Aru's help, Lith smoothly walked over it.
Finally, they reached a road down the mountain. But that was when they finally came across the herd of water buffalos.
"How many do you see?" Aru asked Dal.
"Hundreds, maybe a couple of thousand," Dal said.
As far as his eye can see, the base of the mountain was covered by water buffalos that were sleeping.
"You should go check it out." Aru took out a whistle from his pocket and said.
*Phew* He blew on the whistle and an almost inaudible sound came from it.
