'Demons!'

The familiar message caught Aru slightly off guard. He had never seen it for the past ten years because he was trapped inside the Valley of Death. 

Aru turned to look at the caravan closely.

The system message meant at least one demon was nearby, maybe in the caravan in front.

Aru's body straightened and his lazy look disappeared. He began to look around with focus.

The sudden change in Aru's expression shocked Alia. 

'Did I do something wrong?' She asked herself.

After all, she was just joking when she replied just now. 

"Boss?"

Dal called, sensing something amiss. 

"Did something happen?"

Dal and Emir had been closely interacting with Aru for the past month. So, they could see when he changed into his battle mode.

"There is a demon somewhere nearby," Aru said.

"Where?" Dal and Emir asked.
