Chapter 46: Dark Cuisine

"Look, just to help you cook, my hands have blistered." Bai Xiao waved her hand in front of Ye Huang's eyes, then quickly pulled it back.

Because there really were no blisters!

"Where's the food?" Ye Huang asked, having already given up on having any vegetables.

Bai Xiao served two bowls of white rice.

Ye Huang was visibly disappointed, "What about the potato rice in the copper pot?"

"Didn't make it," Bai Xiao boldly declared. "Considering your health, we're having stir-fried vegetables and meat slices today."

Ye Huang looked at the unintelligibly dark substance in front of him and did not dare to move his chopsticks.

This stuff could be lethal, right?

"What's wrong? You don't like it?" Bai Xiao feigned concern. "No choice, I did my best."

Ye Huang was quite impressed, "To turn vegetables and meat slices into this, you indeed did your utmost."

"Then eat up!" Bai Xiao plunked a large chopstick-full of the dark cuisine into Ye Huang's bowl.
