Chapter 20 Thousand Times Doting

She tightly gripped the doctor, repeatedly asking where the patient inside the ward had gone.

The doctor she grabbed was quite young, an early-twenties young man by the look of it.

Anxious at heart, Ling Fei gripped him tightly. The doctor, lightly dressed in the summer heat, winced in pain because of her grasp.

He was about to snap when he saw the desperation on her face; she looked utterly helpless, had not even put on her shoes, and her dark hair was disheveled behind her. She probably must have left in a hurry without tiding herself up.

Seeing as how Ling Fei often visited the hospital after her break, most of the doctors and the nurses recognized her, all of them liking this pretty, resilient, and dutiful girl.

His heart softened and he didn't remind her about the pain she was causing him. With his other hand, he gently pat her slender shoulder, "Don't worry, your father is being resuscitated."
