“You! Who are you and what are you doing here?”
Alex looked toward the bald man with a searching look on his face. He wanted to know who this man was and what he wanted from them.
“I knew you all were trouble when I first saw you. Still, I was gracious enough to save your lives and this is how you repay me? By not only ignoring my warning but also betraying me? It seems like I will personally have to deliver justice to you all.”
Sherman looked at the three betrayers in front of him. Baron Luke looked struck and the big guy looked emotionless. But it was Ashura’s face that got him.
“You! What did you do with Mahiru? If you so much as touched her, then I swear that…”
“What will you do to us if we touch your precious companion? Listen, kid, we can kill her and you would still be powerless enough to stop us. The only ones who have a right to complain are the strong ones.”
