The Two Forms

Rivera looks at Abaddon and Abaddon is motionless, then Abaddon slowly grabs her two blades from her back, and her eyes glow a deep red. Abaddon lunges at Apollyon. Apollyon blocks Abaddon's blade with his own.

Apollyon "You are going to have to try more if you ever think you will defeat me." Abaddon then kicks Apollyon into the wall of the throne room. The room shakes and pieces of the walls and ceiling start to fall.

Suoh "Rivera we need to go it isn't safe here."

Rivera "I am not leaving her here!"

Sam "I don't think this is the time for discussion."

Sam and Suoh try to move Rivera out of the room as they try to do so. The fight between Apollyon and Abaddon increases. Abaddon and Apollyon are both covered in cuts and blood yet neither one is fazed. They both keep catching their breath as they move about the room. Dendrite still seated on the throne looked very pleased with the fight.

Apollyon "You have gotten strong through these last 3,000 years, but not strong enough to defeat me!"

Abaddon doesn't say another word, she lunges at Apollyon again, cutting him deep within his left arm, Apollyon's face changes to a deepened disgusted look. His magic flashes and he appears right in front of Abaddon grabbing her by the throat and slamming her into the wall. Abaddon quickly breaks free. Sam and Suoh get Rivera to the doors of the throne room. Rivera still facing the fight screams, "Abaddon!" That moment Abaddon looks over Apollyon rushes in front of Abaddon and put his hand right through Abaddon's chest. Suoh and Sam then finally get Rivera out of there Rivera still watching Abaddon then Abaddon gives Rivera a soft smile and the doors to the throne room close.

Sam and Suoh take Rivera to the blacksmith shop to keep her safe. Once they arrive, Rivera was left in shock.

Suoh "What are we doing to do now Rivera?" Rivera's face doesn't change, she doesn't make a sound Suoh stands in front of her as he watches a tear fall from her face.

Sam "We need to leave, if Apollyon is powerful enough to stop Abaddon, we stand no chance again him."

Rivera "He is not the one we should be worried about fighting, I will kill her, I will save my people, and ensure the Abaddon's and my parent's lives will not be forgotten." Rivera stands up and looks at them with a determined look.

Rivera "Sam do you still have that box from Abaddon?"

Sam "Yes, why?" He turns around and pulls the blanket off the box. Rivera walks over and opens it to find a note and underneath the note was something covered in a black cloth.

Rivera "She gave this to me for a reason. I hope this can help us."

Rivera reads the note out loud. "If you are reading this, I am quite possibly dead. I understand you are feeling very mixed emotions, but do not cry for me. I gave you this gift and wrote this letter to give you something that could help within the battle that is left to come. Make me proud Rivera. Oh, kick that son of a bitch's ass for me. -Signed the first right head of Queen Rivera."

Rivera then wipes her tears away. She pulled back the cloth and was shocked to see what lay within the box.
