Past: Run

Jinnacoobeedy was armed, not that he thought there would be much resistance, but he needed to be on the safe side.

Jinnacoobeedy was determined. He was always determined, but for some reason, it was more so now.

Jinnacoobeedy was a pessimist…a very big pessimist. But he needed to think like Butterfly and be the opposite. Like Wongoidchee or Boyenboomarra. They were like the happy children of the crew who wouldn't let anything darken their moods. At times, it was annoying.

Jin entered Tedinver Obegl and as he was long ago, he was in awe. Coolyala's world was the complete opposite of his. It was beautiful and rich and kind. Her world, unlike most others, gave any foreigner the feeling of home. There were younglings scurrying about, the civilians talking and laughing, the houses built to protect against any bad weather, and rulers who were the most giving of them all. Jim enjoyed coming to this world, however, it also made a deep-rooted anger come to the surface. But it wasn't Coolyala's fault. Jin knew she would have helped other worlds if she could, if she knew.

Jin's world, Hetar Efmla, was that of war and destruction, of tortures and pain, of hatred. That was why Jin decided to join with Lofgun: freedom to have friends, to choose, to have a life of his own. Jin believed if he ever had to go back, he would be trapped forever, be so horrified to the point he couldn't move.

"Hi!"

Jin glanced down to see an Endraix youngling grinning up at him. "Hello there."

"Who are you?"

"Jinnacoobeedy." He knelt and smiled at the young female. "Maybe you could help me?"

The grin got bigger. "My mom told me to help anyone who asks nicely as long as it's within my capability!"

Jin felt his heart warm towards this youngling. "I need to find Eonpanth of Dirzowald. Do you know where I might find it?"

The youngling giggled. "Of course!" She spun around and skipped down the exalted brick road. Jin followed, finding the youngling's spirit refreshing compared to the recent times with Lofgun.

"Narraboo, where are you going?" A female called.

The youngling paused her skip. "Helping him!"

"Make sure you're back by mealtime."

"Yes, mom!" Narraboo continued to skip down the path. Jinnacoobeedy followed, seeing more younglings playing and laughing.

He remembered when he was a youngling…it was nothing like he saw here. It was full of learning how to wield weapons, viewing maps, learning the enemies, and strengthening his body. He envied these beautiful souls.

"Here we are!" Narraboo exclaimed happily. "Will you need anything else?"

Jin smiled, pulling out a coin from a hidden pocket. Kneeling, he held it out. "No thank you, youngling. This is yours for your wonderful help. Use it for whatever you wish."

Narraboo gasped. "Are you sure?"

"Of course," he whispered.

Narraboo took the coin, hugged Jin and ran off. Jin smiled once again and entered the building.

Inside, it was glimmering as if there were tiny light bugs floating around. However, the windows were made of Sspowdergla, a type of substance that that made space shimmer. In Jin's time, it was a newer material from what he's used to. He has started seeing it in other worlds, but only in the most precious of places. It made everything seem like magic.

He quietly made his way towards the other end of the building and looked up at the beautiful statue of a smiling female with a youngling in her arms. This female, like Coolyala when she wasn't on Thear, had ten arms, three eyes, and hair around her waist that looked like a hula skirt, but was a type of protective element to their bodies. The males on the other hand were completely hairless.

"May I help you?"
