Chapter 45

Soran headed down the stairs, suspicious as to who would be at this time. He grasped the doorknob and twisted it slowly, his head peeking out as he seemed to want to get a glimpse of the visitor before he opened it fully. It was Lun, he stood in front of him with a horrid expression and he pushed the door violently so it would open. Soran took a rushed step back, his eyes wide at his friend's unusual behaviour.

"What's wrong?" he asked him but Lun didn't answer him. He hurried up the stairs, hearing the vampire following him with the same tension and entered the living room where Kai was resting. It was the first time the prince had a slightly relaxed look on his face. Maybe being with Soran was an excellent idea. These two always synced in a very peaceful way, as if the snow haired royal grounded him. Lun felt bad, he was about to ruin the peaceful expression on his face but he had to, they didn't have much time.
