The flame danced beautifully, like a little dancer, placed in Ash's hand. Olivia stared at it, like everyone else, waiting until the images slowly began to form. People with expressionless faces, shouts and nasty stares. Dirty roads and bodies thrown to the ground. All of it from the point of view of a child.
Her breath was stuck on her lungs, her chest hurting as she watched the horrid scenes. She looked away, again and again feeling the pinch grow stronger as she found herself being cowardly. Ash had lived it, every day, every moment of his life had been drowned in misery and she wasn't strong enough to even look at it from afar.
