Chapter 4: ONE TEST THAT CHANGED THE TEST OF SOLITUDE

The sun shunned from the west on the glass windows and reflected it rays on the cushion I placed my head to sleep. What has happened? Oh my God it is twilight. It seemed like everything was happening so fast. We woke up the next morning everybody at once, we prayed to God "THE LORD'S PRAYER" and we did our chores.

Tracy, do you remember what happened yesterday that we all had to sleep in the cushions? I asked, we we're discussing and till I slept, I don't just know, she replied.

Steve cutting in, this was strange and at the same time very surreal. He now went to cut the tape from recording. Like we actually even left this to record in our sleep. Wow, this is freaking mad, it wasn't supposed to, how could we forget this, but yesterday was an awful time from what I can remember.

Like swears! Tracy concurs as she nods her head in affirmation. It seems like we we're in some kind of picnic adventure kind of hangout at home. Actually, better than the actual hangout we we're rooting to go out for, Steve complies.

I think I should add to that, Tracy askes me what's that which you want to add? Ok, that we should try this again sometime, I know that it is crazy af, but the memories will just keep ringing just like this one.

Yeah, that's right, Steve proposes. Okay, okay, okay let's do the petty chores then says Tessy. Everyone steps out to different working areas in the house. Stepping out of the house, the whole look of the area was so serene and quiet, clean and beautiful that when I remember the throwbacks of my previous environs versus this one. It was significantly a huge difference. I was in a New Haven. I went back in, picked a garden fork and began trimming the flowers. I cleaned the whole outside vicinity and Billy runs out of the house to meet me. Hey, good morning, Billy, like it actually heard me it caresses my legs as usual. Okay I don't know what's this connection this dog feels we can get, but I have love back feeling towards it, one hundred percent. I continue the trimming as Billy hovers around me and bustlingly, Steve shows up telling me that the appointment with the hospital is in a few hours. We all rush in and prepare to go to the hospital.

Finally landed there so quickly at the required time, we are referred to a doctor's office. He examines me. I didn't know that Steve and Tracy had discussed something earlier on with him and so he told me that today was going to be gran Kate's burial and I should try and be strong to give her a befitting burial. All things are in place Tessy, my condolences. He discharges me but he affirms me that my condition will be looked into as he will upload the video on the hospital's social media handle and health affiliated NGO's and concerned charity persons will raise funds to help my situation and possibly build a foundation for the dyslexic and racially discriminated child which chiefly included me.

Okay thank you sir, but please did Steve give you any video. Oh yes, he replied. I hope you put in the right gestures and all the points we're covered about the situation that you're going through said the doctor. Yes, it is, I replied him.

I guess I'm done with you, the doctor says. Okay, goodbye sir. I hurriedly rushed from his office down the stairs to the balcony where they we're seated. So, guys you want to tell me that this was all planned and you had given the doctor my video without me even seeing it and was the other parts even cropped out. Calm down, Steve hesitated. Trust me, it was trimmed and my apologies for not showing it to you just that we were in a hurry. I am sorry.

Tessy, I smell something great cooking out of all this, Tracy remarked. You see after hearing your story for the first time. I was touched to my nerves and we felt like we should take a record of it and use it as a project for our assignment on the empowerment course in school. We study theatre arts and we we're told to make a documentary of any sad situation or disease ailment that apparently is sensitive enough to inform the public about the trivial issues and chronic ailments affecting society, which is strongly eligible to require help from the wide media. And so, we made you the subject matter of our whole project right from the accident scene of your grand mum that day, to the sit chat that we had about the reasons you had for why your life has been this solitude, we've always had the cameras rolling but eventually not now, she explained

Hmm! I took a deep breath that sank into my stomach. Steve interfered, but concluding the questions of inquisitiveness in mind. He said that they passed the project and ranked first in their university and as a result of that, the project was taken to many hospitals, schools and organizations that we're willing to help curb and reduce the rate of the issues and ailments. Tessy, you are about to be on TV and besides, many volunteers will be coming knocking at our doors. You've helped us make our career, and besides you are also the catalyst to solving your own issues. Mmmhmm! Tracy concurs by nodding, I replied "I WILL NOT FORGET THE BOTH OF YOU" Thank you for everything.

Okay I think we should start going, we have to start the preparations for your grandmothers' burial, said Tracy. We all joined her and when we got to the cemetery, I saw a lot of people who turned up to grief with me both the ones that I knew and the ones I did not, it was a huge pull out. We buried her although I cried, I promised myself that was going to be the last tear that will drop for my sorrow. I made a conviction to myself to make our family name stand out and though I was showered with tributes, consolatory gifts and condolences. I took a stand that the next gathering that involved me was going to be something we all would celebrate, this one test changed the taste of solitude, you see watching my grandmom go six feet into the ground, my conviction came with a new attitude. My disposition was to make the better of myself and I was doing that, I saw greater heights coming.
