Chapter 1

Once upon a time a young boy who dreamt of becoming a mage, he was fascinated by magic. Unfortunately he was a commoner with no parents, in this world male commoners could only do jobs like farming, carpenters etc. The young boy named Dargan, was hated by the people of the village for his black and dark red eyes. The villagers thought that Dargan's red eyes was a curse from the gods. One day Dargan was starving, but he had no food. While wandering around he saw a stand with bread on it, he couldn't resist the temptation and stole the bread. The one who owned the stand saw him and stopped him. This day Dargan was beaten and banished to the slums. Dargan's life was miserable. At the age of 12 he left the slums and went to another village, he was treated the exact same way as before. But he still didn't abandoned his dream. One year later he got to work in a small shop for a miserable amount of money, but he was happy to finally be able to buy his food.
