Kore had been sitting in the room just thinking about what happened and how it even happened, though the school also wanted to know, despite Kore or his friends not knowing anything about the situation except that there was a monster that was there but wasn't meant to be there.

After a while, Kore snapped out of his thoughts and looked around the room. It was strange, and it felt off. Everything was placed strangely, with the door opposite of where he had come in and the table a long way rather than how it was before. Kore quickly looked around for Flames, though it wasn't around him despite being with him when he came in.

Kore stood up and began walking to the door in order to see if it was unlocked and to his surprise it was though his vision blurred and the original warmth he had been feeling was stripped away in an instant and replaced with cold, Kore blinked a few times only to realize he had been on the floor somewhere familiar he slowly got up from the stone floor to have a look around only to have his vision obscured by blood that was running over his eyes, he cleaned the blood from his eyes in order for a better look at where he was and it was the dungeon a few feet away from him lie where the armed bear previously was before he sent it through the gates of hell.

He looked around for his companion hellhound, which was standing guard near where he had been previously lying. Along with that, there was a puddle of blood around where he was when he had been knocked unconscious.

'Status' Kore called out in his mind.

Kore had looked over his stats and understood that even though he had won and killed the bear during the fight, it must've struck him in the head hard enough to knock him unconscious for who knows how long, Kore thought about something for a second and decided he couldn't make it to the dungeon entrance and back to people in time for help.

Though he could smash the mirror and have his friends come help him he stood up and continued because if he could have Flames kill a monster, he could use it to heal his wounds, so Kore pushed forward. He wanted to prove that the strength gained wasn't just for show and he wanted to be a reliable ally to his friends, not some burden tagging along and weighing them down.

A minute or two passed with Kore slowly making his way down the dungeon's hall when he encountered his next monster. It was a monster with a snake body and a snail's head, Kore stared at the strange monster before using his Analysis skill.

'Analysis' Kore thought in his head.

[How'd this monstrosity come into existence? Anyway, it moves swiftly and is venomous, so avoid getting bit and is slimy]

"Flames kill it." He muttered something toward his hellhound, and Flames ran quickly toward it and began its attack on the Snail-Snake.

At the same time, Kore forced his body to rush forward and attack with his knife swinging toward the monster's head, stabbing into it. The monster reacted violently, swinging around, throwing both Flames and Kore away with Kore's knife still in it.

Quickly, Flames rushed in and kept ripping the monster into chunks, effectively killing it after a while.

Kore managed to get up and walk toward the body, pulling the knife out of its head, finishing it off with a few more stabs. Despite being an uncommon monster like the armed bear, it was finished off quickly with the help of his new companion, which had given Kore new hope for his combat abilities.

Kore's HP had been restored. He felt better than he was a second ago, being on death's door. He had leveled up along with the completion of the battle, but he hadn't paid any attention long enough to see if he had gotten any new abilities or skills.
