One and a half years

Back in Leon Kingdom, Luke took a sigh of relief as he opened his system and received the quest completion notification along with the reward.

Hidden Main Storyline Mission- The Resistance

Before the Leon kingdom was formed, this part of the land was ruled over by hundreds of different lords. However, due to the greed of the few, a huge war was waged across half of Gamin over the true ruler of Gamin. Over time, a new kingdom was slowly formed by swallowing up those hundreds of small territories, forming the Leon kingdom we know today. However, many citizens, nobles and rulers were unsatisfied with this takeover, and with the support from Roland and Islesat, formed a secret organisation called 'The Resistance' with the numbers reaching in the hundreds of thousands. With the sole goal of the breaking down of the Leon Kingdom into smaller kingdoms, they worked in the shadows to achieve this goal. However, with time, this goal shifted from disbanding to annihilation, twisting their morals and attempting to create diseases for humans, and mutations for monsters.

Option 2: The Leon Kingdom (Chosen)

Luke was rather stunned at the plentiful harvest of all kinds of rewards, especially the 10% to the Main Storyline, and the 20,000 exp. Happily accepting them, he moved onto taking a look at his main storyline quest just to make sure.

Once Luke had confirmed that his 10% completion was present, he moved onto checking his status after quickly using up all the skill points, stat points, and talent points he could to increase is overall strength and survivability.

He finally received his next specialisation options.

================

In order to level up further, you need to choose a specialisation.

Specialisation Options:

1] Holy son (Priest)

2] Tamer (Hunter)

3] Aura-wielder (Warrior)

4] Faceless (Magician)

5] Virtual Mechanic (Mechanic)

================

Luke thought for some time. He had previously taken [Child of light] from the priest pathway, which had further boosted his passive and active regeneration abilities to an overwhelmingly insane level.

He could, being a level 39 being, he could tank a few blows from that Rachel and survive unscathed after just a second of regeneration. Naturally, that would completely deplete his mana, and another attack from Rachel would insta-kill him.

But anyone below level 50 would never be able to kill him as his natural mana regeneration, boosted by his draconic attributes, would allow him to spam low level healing spells forever, even is a group of people below level 50 came to kill him.

It was even worse for those of his own level, who would simply find Luke to be an undying monster since his natural regeneration would cover for almost all costs without breaking a sweat.

The Sage's name had spread throughout the continent in this manner, and he had even received a legendary point: Undying monster, for it.

This level of healing was sufficient for the current Luke and his enemies, especially since Rachel had been handles by that protagonist old monster Mark of the Guild of magic.

Therefore, he did not need to waste another specialisation on healing, and instead wanted to target his greatest problems.

One of which was a lack of firepower, but that was not much of a problem for Luke, since he had his uselessly irritating exp-hole "Spell Library". This was one of those super-high-end-luxury-ultimate-legendary exp-holes he had heard of. Not because of what it did, but because of how much exp it sucked away from Luke.

He had received this like all other players would eventually, when he reached level 30 along with his [Child of light] specialisation.

Its effect was sort of similar to the common exp-hole Spell Gambling, however, you would not have to depend completely on chance. [Spell Library] worked differently.

When Luke used it, his mind entered a library of preposterously unending proportions with book shelves everywhere.

How this worked was that Luke could freely walk around, and pick up any one book. Naturally, none of the books had names, and he could just randomly pick on. Each book was a grimoire, with at least 2 spells written on them. However, it was almost impossible to find the spell you were looking for. What was more irritating was that you had to spend 10 exp per second you were in there, and you can only pick up a single book.

The exp-hole was kind enough to remove all the books he had already picked up along with any complete shelves.

In just a month, he had quickly completed nearly 500 shelves, however that is where the problems began occurring. Moving to the latest present shelf took a considerable amount of time since he respawned in the same exact spot, and running in any direction took at least 1 minute, since in that library, none of his skills or stats were present. It was only the frail body of a normal 19-year-old fellow.

By this time, moving to the latest shelf took nearly a thousand exp.

None the less, it had helped him greatly, and by now he had a near infinite arsenal of spells due to the incredible number of books he took.

This had solved his attack and defence problems in terms of magic. However, Luke still faced a gave problem.

His only form of close ranges attack was normal martial arts, which was the evolved form of Hand-to-hand combat.

Thinking about it for another minute, Luke finally made his decision.
