Roman sat up from his bed, his mind still reeling from the shocking discovery. He knew he had to talk to Bianca, to confront the elephant in the room. He couldn't just ignore it, no matter how uncomfortable it made him feel.
He got out of bed and walked towards her bedroom door, his heart heavy with emotion. He could hear sniffling sounds coming from inside, and his instincts told him to comfort her.
He knocked softly on the door, calling out to her in a gentle voice, "Bia... Bibi." The silence that followed was deafening. He knocked again, this time a little louder. Still, there was no response.
Roman hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should enter, but his concern for Bianca's well-being won out. He slowly turned the handle and opened the door.
The room was dimly lit, and Bianca was lying in bed, covered by the blanket. The sounds of her crying were unmistakable, and Roman's heart went out to her.
