Wen Nan's face turned pale when she heard the man's threat.
"I didn't mean it that way. I just wanted to chat with Beibei, but she was so hostile that I lost control and said some words. I didn't do it on purpose. I'm sorry, Mr. Chen."
Jiang Jingchen let out a casual chuckle.
"Wen Nan, your apology is worthless."
Wen Nan panicked and pleaded, "Mr. Chen, I really just said those things to Beibei in a fit of anger. I didn't mean to betray you. You asked me to move out of the villa and I obediently moved out. Mr. Chen, please believe me."
Jiang Jingchen put down his book, took off his mask, and took a sip of coffee.
Wen Nan's eyes widened in surprise when she saw him take off his mask in public and there were no scars on his face.
"Mr. Chen, you've stopped disguising yourself?"
"You've already let my secret out. There's no point disguising anymore." Jiang Jingchen's tone was filled with disdain as he put down his coffee.
