Confronting A Pair Of Flood Dragons.

Ikuya and Chu Yuechan who was holding on to the sleeping Fera appeared in a remote location in the core region of the Wasteland of Death.

After a second of shock, Chu Yuechan immediately slapped away Ikuya's hand off her slender shoulder and took a few steps back.

" Don't ever touch me again!" Chu Yuechan stated coldly as she glared at Ikuya.

" It's not like you'll get pregnant just because I touch you." Ikuya said as he walked towards her.

As this carefree man stood in front of her, Chu Yuechan didn't know what to say for a minute.

Never has a man stood so close to her. Or rather, she has never let a man to get near her. But over these three months, Chu Yuechan felt a strange sense of trust towards Ikuya. This trust she felt could've been more deeper if it wasn't for the fact that Ikuya had demanded her to stay with him. She still didn't understand Ikuya's motives and still had her own suspicions about it.

Ikuya then took Fera from Chu Yuechan's arms and started to walk forward towards a certain cave.

Suddenly, an enormous silver shadow emerged from below. The silver shadow rushed towards Ikuya and Chu Yuechan like lightning and a single one of them was the size of a house. The beast's ferocious mouth which was set with frightening teeth opened wide and rushed at them.

Chu Yuechan was able to dodge it with a bit of effort while Ikuya simply took two steps to the side to evade the attack of the beast. But it wasn't over just yet.

From behind them, a wave of the same dangerous aura came barrelling towards them and another ferociously wide mouth which looked practically the same came snapping from their backs.

Chu Yuechan's eyebrows knitted as she stretched her right hand out, and constructed an ice barrier of about thirty three meters wide. Their ferocious mouths that were wide open crashed into the ice barrier, and were thrown far away. Large cracks also formed atop the protective barrier.

Seeing the cracks atop the ice barrier, Chu Yuechan's eyebrows tightly wrinkled.

For some reason, these two beasts were ignoring Ikuya's presence and only going after Chu Yuechan. It wasn't much of a surprise to Ikuya as he doesn't release his aura like Chu Yuechan and is extremely skilled at Energy Control and aura suppression.

Ikuya then looked at the beasts that attacked him and saw two silvery scaled Flood Dragons.

Both gigantic silver flood dragons that rose in the air were over a hundred meters long. With one in front and the other in the back, they circled around Chu Yuechan on both sides. A field of dragon scales reflected a cold silvery light, as if there were currently a numerous number of silver-coloured snakes in motion, the two matchlessly vast spirals' terrifying imposing manner locked them firmly in place.

The male Flood Dragon in front opened its mouth wide, and spat out human words, " It's another foolish human's futile attempt to pollute the Dragon God's treasure….. Die!!"

The voice was solemn and ear-splitting, and when it fell, two Flood Dragons surged into the sky simultaneously, and two waves of berserk auras rushed at Chu Yuechan one after the other.

The male Flood Dragon's voice carried deep hatred and murderous intent within it, as though humans were hated enemies that it was not willing to share the world with. Clearly, to negotiate with them and then depart was completely impossible.

The two enormous Flood Dragons coiled there, high in the air, their bellows shaking the world.

The two Flood Dragons were roughly the same size. They looked similar from the outside, but one was female while the other was male; they appeared to be husband and wife. They simultaneously opened their enormous mouths, belching forth a wave of storming tornados. The storming tornados were originally only a several meters wide, but in the process of spinning, they quickly grew larger. In the blink of an eye, they had already reached the size of several hundreds of meters. The two vortexes of enormous tornados, one in front, the other behind, carried an incomparably terrifying ripping power as they swept towards Chu Yuechan.

But, unlike in the original story, Chu Yuechan was no longer a half-step Emperor Profound Realm, but a level one Emperor Profound Realm expert.

Chu Yuechan can get rid of them in a matter of few minutes even if the combined fighting strength of the Flood Dragons is tremendous.

Ikuya looked at Chu Yuechan who is taking things quite easy and the Flood Dragons were putting up a fight as well. Ikuya was sure that the Flood Dragons must have realized Chu Yuechan's cultivation level. Yet, instead of fleeing, they were still fighting and trying to bring her down.

" Hey!" Ikuya suddenly called out that caught the attention of the flood dragons and Chu Yuechan.

" You're that weak human..." The male Flood Dragon said as it looked at Ikuya.

" You know..... In terms of Strength, you and I are worlds apart. So calling me 'weak' is simply courting death." Ikuya said with a slight smile. But a terrifying pressure descended upon the entire location that made the Flood Dragons and Chu Yuechan to look at Ikuya in shock.

The pressure vanished as soon as it came as Ikuya said to the Flood Dragons, " I'll be honest with you. This so-called Dragon God's Treasure you two keep blabbering about is most likely something that the Dragon God left behind for the lucky ones to get a chance at obtaining it. You two are simply denying the Will of the Dragon God by keeping up this useless charade. You can't get the treasure for yourself anyway."

" Do you think we will believe the words of a Despicable Evil Human?!"

" Even if you're strong, we'll never let a despicable human like you to pollute the Dragon God's Treasure!"

The male and female Flood Dragons roared out in rage, but didn't take the initiative to attack Ikuya. They believed that their only hope of killing Ikuya was to catch him off guard.

Of course they wouldn't even dare to think of such a thing if they knew the magnitude of Ikuya's immense power and his various abilities the likes of which even gods wouldn't dream to possess.

" Despicable? Evil?.... Hmmm... I myself think I'm a pretty good guy. Me not acting on the evil, twisted thoughts that pop up in my mind should be enough reason for me to be a good guy, I suppose." Ikuya smiled at the pair of Flood Dragons.

What Ikuya said might seem like he was bragging from others point of view. But if they knew about his various overpowered abilities and his main ability which is also the source of all his other supernatural abilities, 'Genetic Access', they will definitely feel that Ikuya was still being very modest.

Based on his will, Ikuya can turn the entire world into a paradise or into a hell or even worse than hell with the unrestrained use of his 'Genetic Access' ability. Ignoring his limitations, Ikuya is the very definition of what a 'God' is capable of.

" Leaving that aside.... You two remind me of a sight I often used to see in my earlier life." Ikuya sighed. His words caught the attention of Chu Yuechan.

" You two are like a pair of dogs that won't eat grass yet won't let the cow eat it as well."
