Looking at the obese-looking man, trying to show a hard stand, and hide away the heavy breathing and the pain of keeping up with such an uncomfortable pose, Aziel had a hard time pushing down his urge to burst out in pure laughter.
Instead, with incredible self-control he showed his usual aloof outlook, walking at the stride of the woman standing beside her, his aide, Sarah.
"Good Morning, Mr. Dirksen. Thank you for your time. I know that my staff has contacted you rather out of the blue, calling you so late… yet you accepted our request and allowed us to meet with you. I… no, WE are truly happy and appreciate this gesture of yours."
Sarah smiled, causing the middle-aged man to almost fall down face first on the stairs. Mr. Dirksen coughed to hide her embarrassment and turned to look at the young man at the fair miss' side.
"It was nothing, L-lady Kawaso! It is my honor of several lifetimes' worth of luck to be able to meet with you!"
He coughed, changing the topic.
