"I said… I was the one that beat up blondie over there." Aziel responded to Jonathan's question with the same calm and lackadaisical tone as before. He sounded carefree, aloof, indifferent. As if all that just happened wasn't outrageous at all, but just a normal occurrence.
"What? Why? Why did you…" Jonathan was almost speechless at the boy's admission of guilt. Didn't he know what the consequences of his actions would be?
"My friend, Jake invited me to check out a training session and see if I would like it enough to join. You see, I have some interest in this field…"
He smiled, flashing a quick glance at the middle-aged trembling Master, before continuing.
"I joined and as they were just in the midst of a big fight in preparation for the upcoming tournament I decided to join in and test myself against the others."
He explained, shrugging his shoulders.
