Final Rebirth

"Under the blazing heat of the second moon shines a rock of insurmountable power, one filled of melancholy. When the rock cracks its final breath, radiant light will be shone to signal the final era; life will be forfeit."

~~~
Denair smilled as she placed Imogen down upon the aethereal matter below. "Interesting tale... from the sound of it, those gods must be newly ascended; and relatively young."
"But I don't think the other gods would take well of me killing them... for now all I can do is put them under my mark." Concluded Denair as they looked upon the endless space with a hint of anxiousness.
"So does that mean I can die now, waiting is painful; and patience really isn't my strong suit." Mumbled Imogen while reaching her hand up, and scratching out a bothersome knot.
Denair looked down in humor, and bent their body to follow. "I'd think not actually, I'm rather curious to see how far you can go... what feats could you accomplish in this mortal world of mine."
"So return to that mortal shell of yours with haste, and know that I'll be watching; do well not to bore me." Demanded Denair as they prepared to flick the aethereal soul back to life.
Imogen looked at the god with fuming rage, it was almost as though smoke was billowing off her small visage. "Denair you lying bi-!"
~~~

"Holy shit, holy shit; I can't believe that worked!" Celebrated The Chosen One as he cheered while watching the Ancient One's ship dissipate in the distance.

"I'm the master of my own fate now, no Crimson Ones to control me; and no Ancient Ones to eat me." Grinned The Rebellious One in relief while sitting down, and enjoying his newly acquired freedom.

The Rebellious One let go of the wheel, and raised his hands high to show his excitement. "I may not know what I'll do with this freedom, or what life will hold for me; but I'm sure as hell not going to give it up!"

"This is a cause for celebration, I wonder if there's any alcohol on here... oh there's some." Hurrahed The Rebellious One as he jumped down, and let the boat crash into an island.

~~~
"I hate my life... why can't i just die already, what a bore." Suspired Imogen while slamming her fists repeatedly into the cold iron below.
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐎𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐞: What the ****, which god**** idiot messed up this time; can't you just ******* die already!
Imogen took one look at the text box, and a crooked smile came to her lips. "Geez, looks like someone's cranky; do you need your pacifier?"
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞: You ******* *****, your **** life is more ******* worthless than the god**** appendix; and that's ******* saying something *****!
"Haha, what a knobhead you are; can't take a compliment I see!" Laughed Imogen while feeling the rock below almost shake.
Imogen put one hand on the floor before standing up, and grinning. "Shaking the soil in rage huh, oh my lord; I'm just quivering in fear!"
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: You...
"What?" "Afraid to even speak now, ohh; did I hurt your feewings?" Sneered Imogen while dusting herself off.
*𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: You've received the title - Devourer Of Kin
*𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐧: Given to those who have consumed the body of a fallen kin member, -2 VIT, +3 DEF, +1 INT; and all near creatures will feel a semblance of fear towards you - It's a permanent title
Imogen looked up, and stared at the text box for a while before starting to chuckle. "For a second there... I thought you were going to do something detrimental to my stats."
*𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: You've received the title - Unfavorable Of The System
*𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦: Forced upon those who have gained the ire of the mighty system, -10 to all stats - Effects will be added once the great system has been trifled with again
"Actually... have I ever told you how much I like you system, I mean you just have the best personality; it's a fact." Coughed Imogen while eyeing the omnipotent system notification.
*𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: You've received the title - One Watched By Denair
*𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫: Using shear luck, you've somehow managed to draw upon the attention of the tier 4 god Denair, gaining yourself the skill - Candidate Of Denair
*𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫: Under the watchful eye of Denair, you are trialed, and gain the new stat fame. Your fame rises with every action, whether it beest slaughter, or unconditional sacrifice - It's a passive skill
Imogen strained her eyes to look at the notification, and suddenly felt a fit of rage overtake her. "Oh my god system, will these pointless titles ever end; weren't you supposed to give me them ages ago!?"
*𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐞: The prevalence of your apparent good, and bad actions. Of which, has been split into infamy, and Stature - Locked until your life actually means something
Imogen smacked her head into a wall completely by accident, breaking her nose in the process. "Stop that already!" "I can't even see past the notifications anymore, my deepest apologies for what I've done!"
*𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: The cumulative amount of virtuous deeds you've done that have been recognized by the public
*𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐲: The total amount of malicious enactments you've committed that have been witnessed by at least ten people
"What more do you want from me, I already apologised; please just get rid of these vile notifications!"
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: How stupid can one be, you wouldn't be able to see even if I removed the notifications; light doesn't just appear out of thin air
Imogen took one last look at her surroundings, and then smacked herself in the face full of shame. "Oh... well I'm stupid, I can't even tell if the room is pitch black; or not!"
*𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: By falling into this pit, you technically escaped from the required cavern - Gain 3 Skill Stones, and 1 Evolution Stone
"Hahaha, I wonder how much you hated giving me that reward, and if you were human; I can just imagine your grimacing face." Chortled Imogen as she stepped on a pressure plate, and felt a spike go up her leg.
"This isn't karma, so don't you fricking say it system; don't you fricking say it." Grimaced Imogen while ripping her leg off the spike, getting some extra flesh shredded in the process.
Imogen dropped back onto the cold iron floor unable to support her own weight, and began to heal her wounded leg. "Goddarn that hurts, why does this world have to be so painful... it seems defence is completely useless."
But just as the last few words flew off Imogen's lips, torches ignited themselves; blazing in a steady orangish light. The room was revealed, and Imogen didn't like the sight of it one bit, traps surrounded an island in a circular pattern.
And in the center of the island glowed a vine covered statue, one guarded by several creatures of all sorts; most seemingly staring at her.
"Well this is unnerving, I think I'll just take the exit; no way in hell am I getting eaten alive by some weird stone creatures." Announced Imogen as she ran towards what looked to be a metal door.
With haste Imogen ran to the door, dodging traps along the way; only getting a few arrows stuck in her shoulder. But when she reached the promised door, and tried to open it to reach salvation; she realized it wasn't actually a door at all.
But a small metal feature on a giant snarling stone bear, it broke out of its prison of rock; and looked down upon Imogen with such hate it almost exploded from the pressure.
"Hello there... you're a nice bear right, one that's not going to kill me; and eat my splattered remains." Assured Imogen while backing away, and smiling.
After a while, Imogen sighed; and then walked back over to the still unmoving stone bear. "Actually, just kill me; I don't really want to live anyways."
*System Unhappiness: Isn't it selfish to kill yourself, many other people would die for your life; and almost every other person would deserve your life more than you do
"What's even the point, I can't affect the world in the slightest, and by the time I manage even the smallest impact on it; I'll die of old age." Despaired Imogen as she closed her eyes, and let the bear's paw squash her into oblivion.
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Wait, what if I told you that you do have a purpose; and time's slowed so don't worry about dying just yet
"What, peeling potatoes, and inventing french fries; not a chance." Snarled Imogen while stabbing her nails into the left palm of her hand.
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫: Just because you might not be able to make a big change now, doesn't mean that saving the odd person; or two is bad. Do you see how selfish you are now, pathetically so; it almost hurts my nonexistent soul
This caused Imogen to sidestep the bear's paw, jump up; and stab her halberd into its rocky skin. "FINE, I won't kill myself then; but I'll probably just die somewhere else anyways!"
"I guess I'll devote my life to helping those who I deem fit, and killing the ones I don't!" Scowled Imogen as she jumped up higher on the stone bear's leg using her halberd.
"I may not know how to kill a stone construct, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with that green core in the center of its head!" Bellowed Imogem while narrowly jumping to the other leg to avoid being eaten by the bear's gaping mouth.
"System!" "Put one Skill Stone, and an Evolution Stone into Basic Halberd Mastery; use the last two on Life Steal." Demanded Imogen while feeling her expertise with halberds increase drastically.
*𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Basic Halberd Mastery has evolved into - Proficient Halberd Mastery
As soon as the notification arrived, Imogen grinned; and prepared for the biggest jump yet. "Ahh, just in time for me to reach the shoulder, this jump should be slightly easier now; hooray for my ingenious."
Using her limited knowledge about tree jumping, Imogen performed an inhuman jump on the leg of the moving stone bear; and 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 made in onto its back.
"That was fun, I think I'm becoming more; and more satanic with each passing day." Grinned Imogen as five "miniature" stone bears surrounded her.
"I never can get a break? Can I? Well fine then; I'll just kill you five first." Snickered Imogen while getting into the Posture Of The Unrelenting Inanition, and smiling joyously.
I was so happy when I started my writting, it told me that I still could actually write.
Oh, and I started laughing when I misspelled fist with fish.
Also, I got my second shot today... I feel so tired.
