What Were You Doing In The Forest ?

" Sorry .." , Enilese glanced up at the person in front of her as he was looking at her . He was a bit annoyed . She frowned a little as she recognised something about the man before her , his mesmerizing dark green eyes . It was the same man who saved her the other day .

" It's okay ." ,the man replied shortly and bent a little to pick up his phone which was dropped during their collision . Hearing his voice Enilese came to her senses , she realised that she had been staring into his eyes for some seconds . Without paying much attention the man was about to walk on when Enilese said , " Wait ... aren't you the one who saved me the other day ? "

Shawn turned and looked at her . He remembered her wavy hair , bright red lips , rosy complexion and her sparkling peach blossom eyes .

Enilese asked , " You don't remember ? "

" I definitely remember now . Actually I was wondering , who else walks from the middle of the road , and see it's you again . " , he said jokingly yet coldly .

Enilese rolled her eyes and said " So , you could have moved to avert the collision . Why didn't you ? "

" I was walking along the right way ...how it's my fault when you came to wrong side ? " He said frowning at her .

Enilese couldn't say anything to it as it was indeed her fault and also she knew that this man was kind of rude . She looked at him and he waited for her to retort . After a small pause she asked " Umm .... anyway , why are you here ? Do you live in the colony over the forest ? "

" No..."

" Um.. what ? " Enilese couldn't catch what he said as she once again gets lost in his eyes .

" No ..." he said again ," I don't live there . "

" Oh " she curtly said . She felt a bit embarrassed thinking about her weird behaviour . She thought to herself ' Why I'm always staring into his eyes ! It's not like me at all . His eyes are very captivating though ..... Okay I should behave myself .'

She tried to shake the embarrassment from her mind and reveals a small smile , " Okay I'll leave now ." Shawn only nodded .

She started walking , at that time her cell phone chimed . It was a message from Pierce instructing her to wait at a safe place . Only then she remembered that the man was going towards the forest where those creatures were . She turned back quickly and started calling him while running towards him , " Hey ..wait .. don't go there ." " Stop .. there's danger ." ,she caught up with him and held him by his shoulder . He turned back with a irritated look on his face and asked angrily , " What's your problem ? This time what is it ? "

Enilese also was upset seeing him irritated but she could understand that from his perspective she was only bothering him .

But this time it was her duty to warn a common person about the danger .

She said , " Listen first ...there are some mysterious creatures inside the forest .." Shawn's eyes became cold . She continued saying , " They were looking very dangerous , so don't go there , it's not safe ."

He didn't say anything so she said again ," I'm not lying , believe my words and don't go there . He only stared at her . Enilese was losing her patience , she said " Well...say something ."

After a pause he asked in his cold voice " So what were you doing in the forest ? Weren't you coming from that direction ? So what about you ? "

Enilese couldn't come up with an immediate response . She was thinking what to tell him as he continued to stare at her suspiciously .
