DON'T TEMPT MY FURY
"Are you taunting me?" Xiao Zi narrowed his eyes as his jawed clenched tightly.
"Luna wouldn't dare." The girl said humbly, but her lips curled into derisive smiled upon seeing the wrath that she had ignited, crossed his expression. "But, your majesty is a sensible person."
A fierce slapping sound echoed through the wall inside the jail as the fire on the torch flickered, casting the two figures' shadow longer, added the eerie of that place.
The mighty Emperor held his hand mid- air, was about to slap her again. If it wasn't for his last thread of sane, he would have killed her.
In spite of Xiao Zi infatuation for her, as the Emperor, to be defied many times had tempted his fury. However, Luna importance was something that he couldn't afford to lose. Hence, as pathetic as it sound, he could do nothing except let it slipped.
The slap that she received made her head spinning as everything turned blurry, the ringing sound in her ears was deafening as if her head had been slamming to the wall.
With the hit, her body limped to the ground. Luna was kneeling with her elbows and knees in front of the supreme power in that Kingdom.
As new fresh blood trickled down from the cornered of her lips, she lifted her head defiantly. Not even her father could subdue her dissident nature, it was in their blood after all, what's more him.
Her clear eyes were showing how she has been disgusted by Xiao Zi presence.
"You are thinking too highly of yourself." The Emperor hissed ferociously at her. "I will assure you, one day, you will be killed."
Luna spat out blood on the ground, her cheek screamed in pain when she spoke. "And your majesty will be dies now if he stays longer here." She glanced in the distance while tilted her head, listening.
There was commotion from outside the prison that was growing louder and louder by the time that had passed.
Both of them knew, who the person who has the capability to turned the palace upside down. He was the very person that they had been waiting for.
"If I were you, I will have run by now." With great difficulty, Luna stood up with the help of the edge of her bed for her support. "You wanted to test my power?" She straightened her back gracefully.
Her frail figure couldn't hide her calm demeanor and her arrogance.
"I am capable enough to turn him into a beast, because I am stronger than my father." Luna's voice plainly came from the hatred for her life.
It was true when she said she was more powerful than her father. Years of training had proved it, if it wasn't because of her illness, Modama wouldn't be able to suppress her until now.
Xiao Zi scoffed, ignoring her statement as he walked out from the jail, but not before he heard the girl last words.
"From today onward, I hope your majesty could restrain himself for doing such unnecessary things like this. It will ruin the original plan." Luna talked calmly as she sat back on her bed.
In the other hand, the commotion outside was growing louder as someone akin as a beast went berserk and no one from the guards could fight him.
He killed anyone who was coming on his way.
