ANOTHER SIDE OF QIANRU

One of the guards stepped forward and slapped the eunuch hardly until he felt stinging pain on his palm, however looked of satisfied spread crossed his face.

He was also angry with the arrangement. There was no way their prince would be living in this horrible place. But, Qianru's order caught him out of guard, he didn't know that the delicate woman that had been living with their prince for more than two years and seemingly never complained about anything would take an action so fierce like this.

It brought a sense of pride for them. Even without their master here, their mistress was capable enough to handle the situation.

"Stop!" The eunuch cried in despair. He tried to block the hit, but he was only eunuch who couldn't even handle a dagger, he didn't have strength or ability in him to avoid the blow.

Meanwhile the other guards who came with the eunuch were furious. They tried to butt in and stopped the scene were being berated by Qianru.

"How dare you meddle in my business!?" Qianru shouted at the five guards who wanted to help. "Prince Xiao Jun from the Kingdom of Azura will not appreciate this kind of behavior!" Her voice was calm and clear, making them hesitated to step further.

"Princess Qianru please stop… please stop…" Blood started dripping from the corner of his mouth, his courageous sank the moment those guards that he had brought with him hesitant to step up for him.

Finally after Qianru saw the eunuch almost collapse to the ground, she raised her head to put the action to stop.

The guard sighed in relief, even though he was happy to give the eunuch punishment, but his palm started getting numb from the hit.

The eunuch puzzled and sprung on the ground, wailing in agony.

"Show me to the other quarter." Qianru said sternly.

She was, after all, a daughter from one of the noble families in the Azura, she spent her childhood behind the palace wall and played with the Princes, that made her had a strong backbone to stand up for herself or for her husband in the moment like this.

Nobody knew this side of her since no one ever dare to provoke her.

However, nobody moved a muscle to show her the way while the eunuch kept wailing on the ground. "Princess, this place had been arranged by the crown prince, we couldn't assign you to another place without the crown prince consent." One of the guards talked.

"Fine, lead me to the crown prince." Qianru gave a little attention to his words, as she turned on her heel and get on the carriage. "Don't make me repeat myself or I will bring this thing to the Emperor." She said callously when she saw the reluctance on their faces.

Qianru didn't give them any room for negotiation as she told the coachman to leave the scene.

"Princess, I will bring you to the crown prince." The eunuch crawled as he ordered to the guards hastily to escort the furious princess.

His only options were facing the Emperor or the Crown Prince. Of course he would choose the latter, if the matter escalated to the Emperor, no matter what, he wouldn't end good.

The guards followed the eunuch instruction and ran ahead to lead Qianru's entourage to the Crown Prince quarter.

All the servants and the guards who were surrounding Qianru's carriage smirked triumphantly. She was the mistress from Xiao Jun's mansion after all.
