Chapter 7: In my House 1

[2023- November 10]

It still hurts, what a hassle," I muttered, feeling the lingering pain in my body. But at least now I can finally move.

"Sigh, it's too boring here!" I exclaimed in frustration while stretched my body, trying to alleviate some of the discomfort.

"Ahh! Shit, what now?" I pondered as I found myself back at home. But the question remained, what should I do?

...

"Hmm..." I glanced down at my feet, lost in thought for a few minutes.

Aha! Right? They gave me two days of break, that means: , Friday and weekends is equals to three days of free time! Hehe.. I couldn't help but smile, despite my injuries.

Well, isn't this a bliss? I can take time to relax on my own and what's more, I wouldn't have to see Kira for four whole days.

Getting up from my bed, I grabbed the remote control and turned on the LCD TV, connecting it to the internet.

"Wahh!! Thank you so much Ate Yuri for delivering this tv, this way I can finally watch with a big screen." I bowed my head and payed a respect to my sister who always send me some stuff from time to time.

Even though we only meet once a month and I don't know much about her, I'm at least grateful to her consideration... Despite not being related to me she gave me a home and got this far.

...

I am now in my house. After the fight, the other students helped me to get up and I was treated in the infirmary, thankfully the school is nice as ever that they gave me a two days break from school so I could get a better rest.

And about those guys? I've heard that the four dudes was expelled into our school, well, that's to be expected from Philippines Senior High School(PSH). The school is renowned to its good moral students and good reputation, so there's no way they will let those dudes in school roam around freely after what they've done.

Sigh, I'm really having fun now. Well, the infuriating guy is gone now, no need to worry about anything for the time being.

But to think that the President will take action and report them, He's really doing his job well. And as for Kira, sigh.. I don't know if she's an Idiot or just acting, I mean she's not like that when it comes to school works and activities, She also do things elegantly like a fine lady, so why is she acting like that to me?

When I asked her why she believe me and kissed me, she said "W-well, my mother also used to kiss me whenever I get hurt when I'm still a kid, so I guess what you said is true and so, I-I did it, hehehe" She smiled cheerfully while rubbing her hair, acting like a child.

What the hell? I thought.. I mean... Just what really is Kira's motive,? Why is she fine with those things? Takumi didn't even, Ugh! Shaking my head off, I buried my head onto my pillow, reprimanding myself to forget it.

...

And more importantly Kira's..holding and unknowingly touching my mouth, I was reminded by it, her lips.. it's really soft and.. "Ahh!! Forget it! Idiot!"

I really lost it, and so I flopped onto my bed.

Ugh, I'm hopeless! This is so stupid, get ahold of yourself Matsuki!

I Sighed in relief, finally calming down from my slap, ,For now, let's forget it and watch something to kill time and console myself.

Ding-dong Ding-dong*

"Huh? Who's that?" I wondered aloud. I hadn't ordered anything today. Could it be a neighbor? Well, I suppose I should just check it out.

Leaving my room, I made my way towards the entrance door and opened it, only to find Kira standing on the other side. She was wearing her uniform, with her bag slung over her shoulder..

""M-matsuki-kun..." Kira's voice trembled as she spoke.

My guess was that she had come here after attending the morning class, considering she was still in her uniform.

Sigh, what the hell? How did she know where I live? And why did she come here?

She stared at me, her eyes welling up with tears.

Huh? Her eyes... Is she crying again?

"So, how did you know I live he-" I began to ask, but before I could finish my sentence, Kira tightly hugged me.

"Wha!" I exclaimed in surprise, caught off guard by her sudden action. "Hey! It hurts!" I tried to pry her off me, but she held onto me tightly.

Ugh! My body was still aching, and her tight embrace only made it worse.

"Geez!" She rubbed her head against my chest and said, "You made me worried!"

"Huh?" I was taken aback by her words. "I'm worried!... I thought something had happened to you. You weren't answering my calls, not replying to my messages, and you suddenly disappeared from the infirmary yesterday."

Huh? Worried? Why?

I stood there, stunned and confused. Why was she even here in the first place? What's her deal?

...

"Are you okay?" She finally released her hold on me and placed her hands on my shoulders, checking my body as if she was making sure I was alright. "Geez! Don't make me worry!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms and puffing her cheeks in frustration.

So, what was she trying to accomplish by coming here?

"I told you to wait for me in the infirmary! When I arrived yesterday, you were already gone... I searched for you in several places, but I couldn't find you. I thought those guys had found you again and hurt you," she sniffled.

"You weren't answering your phone and... and..." She punched me several times, her delicate fists attempting to inflict some kind of harm. Despite my body still aching, there was no way her punches would cause any damage. She seemed more like an upset baby lashing out at her mother than someone genuinely worried.

"Next time, answer my calls and don't make me worried again," she demanded, her eyes filled with tears.

Hey, hey! Don't act like that, don't remind me of her. You're making me sick! I snapped angrily in my thoughts, but forced a smile on my face.

"Sorry, I was just a bit too tired yesterday, so..." I brushed my hair, lowered my head, and acted somewhat apologetic.

Now that I think about it, I haven't used my phone and completely forgot about messaging her. Well, I assumed she only needed my number as one of her goals, and that was it.

I left early yesterday without saying anything to anyone because I felt uncomfortable in that room. I don't like being in spaces that resemble hospitals; they always give me a headache. It reminds me of the day I woke up in this body, which is an unpleasant feeling.

"So, what are you doing here?"

"I told you, I'm worried!" she insisted.

Worried my ass!

Well, the reason why she's here must be because it's one of her tasks.

Fine, fine. Whatever. I'm not in the mood to deal with her right now. I'm too tired for that. Sigh. Let's just let her come in, and she'll surely leave after a few minutes.

"Why don't you come in, then?" I suggested, opening the door wide and inviting her inside.

"Eeh... Okay." As she took off her shoes at the entrance, I added, "If you don't want to, then don't force yourself."

Kira shook her head.

While I prepared a pair of slippers for her to use, she walked in and said, "Sorry for intruding."

I took the lead, and she followed me as we passed through the living room and finally reached my room.

Once inside, Kira turned to me and asked, "W-where should I sit?"

"You can choose between my gaming chair or my bed. Just sit wherever you find comfortable," I replied.

"O-okay." She made her way towards the bed and sat down gracefully.

Why the bed? I wondered silently.

She looked around, seemingly examining my room.

"What? Are you surprised that my room is like this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Uhm... No, it's my first time going to someone else's house, so I'm a bit... nervous," she admitted.

Nervous? Nervous she said? It's not like it's really her first time, right?

"No need to be nervous. Well, unlike someone like you, I only have a gaming set, a pile of novels, manga, and research books. So, don't be nervous because this room is just like any other room," I reassured her.

"O-okay," she replied, still sounding a bit unsure.

I sat next to her and glared at her.

"So, how did you know my address?" I questioned, my tone sharp and demanding.

"Uhmm... I asked the teacher," she replied, her voice filled with nervousness while hands trembled as she spoke.

"Oh..." The teacher had given it to her, I hope whoever that teacher is, get unlucky or something befitting for him.

"Kira?"

"Y-yes?"

"By any chance, are you planning to stay here?"

...

"Ah, right!" She rummaged through her bag, searching for something, and then pulled out a small white plastic bag. She moved closer to me and said, "I bought some medicine. Lie down on the bed, and I'll treat your wounds."

"Huh? No! No!" I waved my hand, refusing her offer. "I already took care of that. Don't bother yourself."

"Geez! Don't move. It won't hurt a—" She tried to hold my hand, but I didn't let her.

Instead, I decided to show her my dominance. I pushed her back against the bed, pinning down both of her hands to restrain her.

"M-matsuki-kun?" Kira's face turned red, her eyes widened in surprised of my action, but I couldn't care, I leaned closer to her, our faces inches apart. Her slender body was right before my eyes.

"M-matsuki-kun, this is..." She attempted to push me away, but I didn't let her. I held her firmly, asserting my control.

"It's... it's too soon to do this," she stammered, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Too soon, huh? Hahaha...

"What do you mean it's too soon?" I whispered into her ear, my lips brushing against her skin.

Kira jolted and turned her face sideways, avoiding my gaze. Her body trembled beneath my touch, her pulse racing in her hands.

A few moments of staring at her, I finally let go of her and sat.

I sighed and bluntly said: "Sorry, I lost it because you're too attractive for me." Let's stop the teasing for now, I don't know why, but when I see her body in front of me, I got nervous and my heart beat at full speed. Really, what's wrong with me? I thought I was about to puke or something like that would happen but what's with this weird feeling?..

The room was filled with silence for a few moments, but I decided to break the silence by asking her a direct question.

"So, What is it that you're trying to do here?"

I assume that she's just dating me because she was forced or either doing it on her own for some reason but what's really with her deal?.. Doing so many things beyond a girl should act to someone they're lying..

"..."

She didn't answered me and brought something out from her bag.

"Can I use your kitchen?"

"Huh? Why?"

"W-well...I bought some ingredients, I figured that you can't move for a while, so I'll cook something for you."

Cook something, huh? One of her task, I guess.

"Fine, use it. If you walked out here, there is a room next to mine, that's the kitchen. If you need some help just call my name."

"Then." she stood up, picked up something in her bag that seems to be the ingredients she was talking about and went to the kitchen. She must be really hiding something, She even left the room without saying anything.

"Sigh"

While Kira is busy cooking something, I laid on my bed and started thinking.

There's something wrong here. Although I know that she was scheming something I don't know, why is she going all out acting too much than what that bitch did with me.. I don't really understand women.

***

EHHHH! Kyaaahh!" I heard Kira's voice and immediately dashed towards the kitchen, alarmed by the urgency in her scream.

"What the hell is she doing?" I wondered as I hurried into the kitchen. As I entered, an unpleasant odor filled the air, and I was greeted by a chaotic scene. Smoke billowed throughout the room, ingredients and liquids were spilled all over the floor.

"What happened here?" I exclaimed, my voice filled with concern and confusion.

Kira looked at me with a mixture of apology and fear in her eyes. "S-sorry, it wasn't supposed to be like this," she stammered, her voice filled with regret. But my attention was quickly diverted as I noticed something about to fall onto her head.

"Watch out!" I shouted, rushing towards her. I swiftly pulled her away, placing my hand on her head to shield her from harm.

"That was close," I sighed in relief, holding her tightly. Thankfully, we managed to avoid the falling object, but in the process, the knife brushed against my shoulder, leaving a painful scrape.

"Shit!... It hurts," I muttered, feeling the stinging sensation in my shoulder.
