A well-timed backstab

Wallen's appearance was clearly outside of Elron's plan. His grin had disappeared. He certainly didn't expect the butler to be a Refined Knight.

"Drink the Piss," he said to his partner sounding grim. He knew the fight would be brutal.

Seeing Wallen display an element circle, Briella and Althea looked shocked. Hestia knew Wallen was the second strongest person in the castle. The man with a puppet-like expression saved her countless times.

"You knew?" Briella asked Ivran. The old Knight looked relieved from the moment Wallen appeared.

"He saved my life during my first Mission in the mountains," Ivran said without delving into the details.

"If you guys are done, be useful and stop his partner. I will take the grinning idiot. We have little time." Wallen interrupted them as he moved his hands. The circle flashed.

The space around Lira twisted but shattered soon. "As expected. The space there is protected by the infant's divinity."
