out of her comfortable sleep with her head laying on Mark's bare chest, Eleanora practically falls off of the bed in her haste to grab her pager.

Mark grumbles, opening one eye to check on his girlfriend. "You good?"

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Eleanora nods before standing up. Grabbing her jeans from the floor, she hops on one leg while she slides them on.

"I'm good, I'm good!" She tosses her pager into her bag, quickly stumbling to the bathroom to quickly brush her hair and teeth.

Mark sits up, turning the bedside lamp on. Stretching his back, he glanced at the alarm clock, furrowing his brows. "Nora, baby, it's 4 am."

Eleanora pops out of the bathroom, running her hair brush through her messy hair. "I know. Tyler paged me, said an appy is coming in. Rumor has it that the Chief has done an Appy for the first solo surgery for the past couple years, and I want to get enough information about them in my brain as humanly possible."

Mark snorts, leaning back against the headboard. "You paid off Tyler to page you on Appy's when you're not on call?"

Eleanora furrowed her brow, taking slight offense. "Of course not. I just asked and he said yes." Disappearing back into the bathroom, Mark nods to himself, but his voice is loud enough to carry towards his girlfriend.

"Right, sorry, I forgot everyone is absolutely head over heels for you." He teased.

After a few moments, Eleanora rushed back into the main room, grabbing her bag and cell phone. She placed one knee on the bed, leaning across it to press a chaste kiss to his lips. Mark smirks into it, moving his hand to cup her cheek in an attempt to heat up the kiss.

Eleanora pulls away, pressing another kiss to the top of his nose before starting for the door. "I have an appy, babe! I'll see you in a couple hours!"

The door to Mark's hotel room slams shut, leaving the man to give it a narrow eyed glare. He lets out a huff before turning off the lamp and dramatically flopping back down to try and get another hour or so of sleep.

"Damn solo surgery." He mumbled to himself, punching the pillow to make it a bit more comfortable. "Stops me from having morning sex."

on her heels right beside George, Eleanora wrings her hands together as her and her friends all wait for Bailey to show up.

Looking around at the group, Eleanora's brows furrow a bit before she focuses on Alex. "Hey, where's Izzie?"

Alex doesn't look at her, his voice a little harsh. "Where's Sloan?"

George, Meredith, and Cristina all focus on the two, the two female's eyes narrowing a bit and George's brows raising.

Eleanora is silent for a moment, letting her eyes dance across his face. She then turns to face forward when she hears the doors to the ER open, her own voice a little cold. "His shift doesn't start for another two hours."

Shaking the water off of her umbrella, Bailey looks up to see the residents standing around. "What are you all doing here?"

"Oh, he's mine. I met him at the ambulance." Cristina started, not answering the question. Meredith popped up from beside her, her own voice a little fast.

"And she's sharing him with me."

"He's mine. I'm on call." George says flatly. Eleanora perks up, a smile way too bright for someone who was up before 6 am making its way on her lips.

"And he's sharing him with me."

George smirks, giving her a playful shove. Alex gives their Chief resident a sickly sweet smile, one that is obviously being forced. "Good morning, Dr. Bailey. You look nice today."

"Brown Noser." Cristina hisses, turning Bailey's attention back to her. "I got here first, and the Chief said that I'm the one to watch."

"He also told me that I was the one to watch." Eleanora piped in, peeking her head around her taller friend. "He also told me how impressed he was with me, in my intern year and this one."

"Ooohh, I get it." Bailey drawled, looking between the residents with a knowing look on her face. "It's solo surgery time, and you all have heard that past two years the Chief has assigned an appendectomy. So you little mini surgeons dragged your butts out of bed to pick up some final tips from the master. Yeah, it's kinda cute. I can use two of you."

"But I'm on call." George let's out, his voice exasperated. Eleanora perks up from beside her best friend, her voice a little high pitched.

"You've always told me how cute I am. Given, it's normally when you're about to boss me around, but you've said it!"

Cristina scrambles, noticing Bailey paying attention to Eleanora and George. "I just filled Meredith in on the case."

"Jason Kron, 47. Tenderness over McBurney's point." Meredith told Bailey confidently, Bailey turning to look at Alex.

"Karev, what do you know about Mr. Kron?"

Alex struggled for a moment, seeing as he hadn't been able to look at the chart seeing as he got her later than the others. "I know he's a lucky man to have you as a surgeon."

Eleanora tilted her head in confusion, George scoffing and Cristina rolling her eyes while Meredith struggles to keep a snicker to herself.

Everyone attention is grabbed by an EMT and Hunt rolling in, listening to the stats. "Arthur Solantoff, 45. Fell from a second story window. Stable vitals, multiple fractures and lacerations with evidence of head trauma."

Owen nodded, leading them to trauma room one. He stopped right by the group, focusing on the chart in hand. "Dr. Bailey, I'm gonna need one of your residents to help me and one to run the ER while I'm busy."

"Me, mine!" George yelled, stepping to stand beside the Trauma Attending. "I'm on call!"

"It's yours." Bailey motioned him off before focusing on Eleanora. "Amedeo, run the ER. You're the only one I trust this early on the morning." She gave her an odd look, not fully understanding how she could be so cheery.

Eleanora tried to push down her disappointment before nodding, heading straight to the ER desk. "Of course, Dr. Bailey."

Reaching the desk, she leans across it to speak to Tyler. "Hey, could you page my interns? They're on call tonight and I'm gonna want some extra hands just in case."
