, please, calm down." Sabrina complained, struggling to curl her mother's hair. Heidi was talking at a million miles per second, moving and throwing her arms around. Eleanora giggled, glancing over at the two from where Lexie was doing her makeup.

"I can't calm down, Sabrina! My eldest daughter is getting today! It's such a big deal, and I need to make sure everything goes perfectly!" Heidi scolded, Lexie snorting under her breath.

"Mom, it's going to be fine." Eleanora tried. "Mark is at the venue now with Derek, Max, Enzo, and Dad. They have it under control."

Heidi sighed, flopping back in her seat. Sabrina let out a huff of air, closing her eyes as she tried to stop from yelling at her mother.

Eleanora focused back on her best friend, a smile on her lips as she lowered her voice to talk to Lexie. "It's almost like they have no faith in them."

"I wonder why." Lexie teased. "Isn't Mark the one who thought a butterscotch cake would be great? And he wanted horses?"

"Don't bring up the horses around him." Eleanora begged. "It took me a whole week to con him out of that idea."

Meredith walked into the bathroom, everyone in the bridal party being at her house to get ready since it was closer to the church.

"Update?" Eleanora asked, perking up a bit. Lexie halted in applying Eleanora's eyeshadow, looking over her shoulder at her sister.

"Not on the guys, no. But Cristina is trying to break into the liquor cabinet for my tequila, April is trying to stop her, and Jenna is encouraging Cristina because she can't drink since she's breast feeding." Meredith told her, leaning on the doorway.

Eleanora snorted, nodding her head. "Sounds about right."

Eleanora started fiddling with her ring, spacing out a bit as her brows furrowed. Meredith noticed and snapped her fingers at her to get her attention.

"Hey, stop that! It's your wedding day, Ella. Don't be all dark and twisty , it's supposed to be the happiest day of your life. I know mine was."

"You didn't a wedding." Lexie pointed out, raising a brow. Meredith narrowed her eyes at her sister, Heidi glancing over.

"You didn't have a wedding?"

"Her and Derek got married on a post-it, mom." Eleanora informed her mother. She took a deep breath, calming herself down. "Everything's fine. We planned it perfectly. The guys should have no troubling figuring out the few things we had left. They're going to be fine by themselves."

in the hell does this mean, Mark?!" Derek yelled out towards his best friend, struggling to figure out where the place the flowers at the alter. "? Is Eleanora casting a spell?"

"I don't know!" Mark hissed out, rubbing a hand down his face. "I'm more focused on the fact I can't understand the seating chart!"

Max snorted from where he was sprawled out in one of the pews. "Ella left you guys instructions and you can't even figure them out. What a shame, all those years in med school and a surgical residency down the drain."

"Then maybe you could try to help." Mark sassed, narrowing his eyes at the younger man. "Instead of just laying there on your ass and soaking up our embarrassment."

Anthony strode in, his dress shirt rolled up to his elbows as he carried another box of string lights for the alter. He passed by his youngest son and kicked at the pew he was laying on, voice hard.

"Maxwell, no napping in the church. I raised you better than that!"

"Sorry, Dad!" Max was quick in standing up, his face a little pale. Enzo chuckled as he passed by his brother, carrying some more flowers.

"Way to stay strong, Max. Really sticking it to the man, there."

Max reached over and smacked his older brother upside the head before sprinting down the aisle to go and help set up the outside. Enzo cursed after him, trying to kick out and catch his feet before he got too far, but was unsuccessful.

Derek laughed, standing up to head over to Mark. He nudged his best friend with his shoulder, voice low. "Interesting family you're marrying into, Mark."

"I couldn't imagine another." Mark responded confidently. He then thrusted the seating chart in his friends hand. "You handle the seating, I'll go handle those flowers."

Derek nodded, the two sharing a quick back pat before heading off to do their own duties.

took a shaky breath, staring in Meredith's mirror. She ran her hands down the front of her dress, the lace pattern underneath her palms calming her. The back of the dress has still yet to be zipped, but Eleanora isn't focusing on that.

The door to Meredith's room opens, Lexie sneaking in. She stays silent for a moment, watching Eleanora stare at herself in the mirror. Finally, she speaks up, her voice soft.

"You look beautiful, by the way. I'm not sure if I've told you yet, but you look...."

Eleanora looks over at her best friend and smiles shyly before focusing back on the mirror. "You think so? It's not too much?"

Lexie lets out a '', moving behind Eleanora to zip up the dress. "It's perfect, Ella. You look stunning. Mark isn't gonna know what hit him."

The two share a laugh, Eleanora's fading away. Lexie notices, her brows furrowing as she looks at her friend in the mirror.
