Chapter 27 Competition between the two spirits

"Oh, my God, what is it that makes Gane, a rich kid, want to cook for her? To say something so dramatic?" Wynne was a little confused.

Before she could say no, Gane took her into the house.

Wynne was shocked the moment she entered the room!

The original messy room was redecorated, pink and white wallpaper, princess style bed, even the previous simple furniture, were replaced with new, and better one. The whole room looks new and fancy. The dinner table was set in front of the window, lit by French candles, red wine, steak, bright knives and forks, and folded napkins, all showing how much work Gane had put into the meal.

"Did you do all this? Wynne asked Gane.

"Of course! His hands wrapped in front of him, proud to answr and said: "In order to give the host a surprise, I have been decorating since yesterday. Do you like it?"

"Good heavens! What a fascinating spirit Gane is!" Wynne thought.

Before Wynne could answer, Dooley came in through the door and his face went black when he saw the new decorations.

"You don't know Wynne, how old she is to be into all this fancy stuff." He said coldly to Gane.

"Damn it! I love it!" Wynne protested internally. She was about to tell Gane she liked it when Dooley signaled her to shut up.

"Shit!" Wynne scolded Dooley in anger. He wouldn't treat a girl well himself and wouldn't let others treat her well. Such a bad-tempered spirit only fit to be controlled by a vicious witch like her grandmother.

"You're jealous of me! For a spirit, you are incapable of pleasing the master, you envy me." Gane retorted him defiantly.

"Dooley, I will not let my master suffer with you. From now on I will live with my master!" "He continued.

Without being noticed by Dooley, Gane pulled Wynne over and slammed her down on the couch.

"Master, you are a girl, sleep will be afraid of the dark. From now on, I'll be with you, and you don't need to be afraid anymore." Gane said, looking affectionately at Wynne and reaching out to gently touch her face.

At this point Wynne clearly felt Dooley's suppressed anger about to erupt and he was glaring at Gane with murderous intent!

Wynne was worried that the two would actually fight, because she wouldn't feel good if either of them got hurt. She quickly got up from the sofa.

"Why don't we get something to eat first? I haven't eaten much since last night. I'm starving." She coaxed her way to the table and sat down.

"Well, since the master is hungry, I'll eat with you." Gane responded warmly, meeting Dooley's cannibalistic gaze and sitting opposite Wynne.

"Oh, master open mouth, I feed you!" Gane, sitting across from Wynne, cut a small piece of steak with a knife and fork, held it to her mouth, and said.

Wynne was about to open her mouth when she caught a glimpse of Dooley's murderous look in the corner of her eye and shivered from the steak, which was almost to her lips.

"Dooley, why don't you come and have some?" 'she asked softly, turning to him.

"Hum! Dooley gave her a bleak glare and threatened her undisguised, "Wynne, if you take a bite of this, I will make you suffer the consequences."

"I can't believe that the legendary black worm is so abusive to his master. No wonder it had such a bad reputation before." Gane grumbled, bringing her another bowl of soup.

"Don't be afraid, Master. He won't do anything to you while I'm here." Gane comforted Wynne, who was caught between a rock and a hard place, looking at the two of them and not knowing what to do.

"Eat, master. Never mind that."

"If you do, I'll make your life a living hell right now!"

"Master eat!"

"Don't eat it!"

"Will you two stop arguing?" Looking at the increasingly fierce battle, Wynne said weakly.

"You shut up!"

"Master, never be afraid, this old loach can not beat me, listen to me, just drink the soup."

"How dare you? !"

"Why not?

....

Two voices kept rolling in her ears, and she was like a clown sitting on a table.

"Why is it that whenever Dooley and Gane fight, she's the one who suffers? !" Wynne felt tired.

"Are you two finished? Do i leave?" Wynne yelled at them! Dooley and Gane were instantly stunned by the her high decibel voice.

They glanced at each other crossly, then back at her.

"Master, you paid the rent, the people who should leave is Dooley." Gane said to her.

"Then why don't you go?" Dooley was furious.

"Stop!" Wynne quickly made a stop sign, fearing that they would keep arguing!

At this point they also realized that the two of them could not get along.

"Dooley, we are really powerful people in the spirit world. There is no point in fighting all the time. How about we have a contest, and whoever loses leaves. " Gane said.

"Oh? What's the contest?" Dooley asked dismissively.

"You can compete me to whatever you want." Gane was confident, looking at him proudly with his arms folded around his chest.

"Now that you said so, I'll give you a chance." Dooley said, giving Gane a faint smile.

"Tomorrow George is going to call Wynne and go to Stockade town. There's a special magnetic field where evil spirits appear. Tomorrow we're going out with Wynne. What do you say to whoever gets this done first, be her life spirit?" Dooley continued.

"Are you gonna challenge me for geomantic omen prediction?" Gane scorned Dooley. "Are you sure you are not kidding?"
