Chapter 10. A Mutually Beneficial Promise

Lady Anastasia doesn't speak a word and just listening to their conversation.

Lord Nicolas says to the red mask mysterious man ,"Great work ,Kikimora keeps in touch and stay cooperative with my plan ,then we both could reach our goal. But ,next time if you murdered someone ,please leave no evidence. So our plan won't be known by Master Gregory."

That red mask mysterious man is an assassin from a top secret assassin organization ,a very strong and professional murderer ,the leader of the assassin organization gives a nickname to all Russian assassins at the organization based on Russian mythical monsters.

This assassin is being called ,"Kikimora".

The organization send Kikimora, because he is the first best assassin to the WoodHound mansion to assassinates General Gregory Grosvenor.

Because he knows the existence of the assassin organization ,but he doesn't know the location yet.

But Lord Nicolas notices that this man is Kikimora before he could fulfill his mission ,he knew his real identity all along.

But Lord Nicolas offers him a deal ,that so Kikimora helps his goal and Kikimora's goal also could be fulfilled ,as an exchange ,Lord Nicolas will keep a secret of his job as an assassin.

Kikimora also asks that he wants to assassinate someone there other than General Gregory for some reason.

Lord Nicolas doesn't mind and he agrees ,so they make a deal.

This deal is a mutually beneficial promise for them both.

Since then ,they work together ,so both of them could reach their goal.

It's a win-win.

Back to the present time,

After their conversation at a room ,Kikimora nodded and he leaves the room.

Ms.Victoria then says ,"Its look like our plan is going perfectly ,my lord."

Lord Nicolas then replies ,"Yes ,if this plan keep going perfectly like this ,I could take that old man down."

Ms.Victoria replies ,"Indeed."

Then Lady Anastasia comes towards him.

Lord Nicolas and Ms.Victoria see Lady Anastasia

Then, Lord Nicolas says ,"Oh ,Good morning ,Anastasia."

Ms.Victoria bows and says ,"Good morning ,my Lady."

Lady Anastasia ,then whispers to Lord Nicolas.

Then ,both of them with Ms.Victoria leaves the room and go to the assembly room.

The maids and the servants are still gathering there.

As Lady Anastasia and Lord Nicolas arrives at the assembly room ,all the maids and the servants bow and greet them.

Then ,all of them witness two servants carrying a coffin.

Ms.Varvara's corpse is inside the coffin.

Then ,Lady Anastasia and Lord Nicolas go towards that coffin and Lord Nicolas says ,"Thank you for your service."

Then ,both of them bow and then ,all the maids and servants bow towards Ms.Varvara's coffin as a sign of respect.

Sir.Igor bows and cries.

All of his tears fall to the floor.

He says to himself ,"If only I could save you from that murderer ,you won't die miserably like this ,I promise I will find that murderer and kill him with my own hands."

Then ,the two servants send the coffin to the carriage.

Then ,the carriage leaves the Woodhound Mansion to send Ms.Varvara's corpse to her family.

Ms.Daria just smiles and says in her evil heart ,"Finally ,from now I could lead all the maids within my will. I will prove to Lady Anastasia and Master Gregory that I'm better than Ms.Varvara as a headmaid."

Sofia feels that there is something wrong with this tragic incident of Ms.Varvara's death.

Since Ms.Varvara's death ,things getting serious at the WoodHound Mansion.
