TSCJTTM CH15 Completing Main World Quest

Things took a few days to completely calm down after the attack on Jujutsu High. To help distract the students from this chaos, Gojo helped to organize a baseball game for the second day of the goodwill event, just like in the original timeline. Without any surprise, the game was easily won by Tokyo High students.

Yuji, Megumi, Inumaki, and Maki didn't have the chance to face the life and death battle against Hanami this time, due to Rudra's interference. To remedy this situation, Rudra organized a free for all Battle Royale match as an unofficial third-day event in the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event with the help of Gojo-Sensei and the two Principals.

Rudra went all out in the Battle Royale, taking on both Tokyo and Kyoto students simultaneously to give himself a challenge. His new Demonized Chimeric Hydra cursed technique gave him a form that was as good as the strongest of Cursed Spirits, hence the other students had a very challenging target to temper themselves.

Rudra defeated people like Mai, Miwa, and Nishimiya very easily at the very starting of the match due to their bad match-up against him. He was just too powerful for their techniques that relied more on tricks and sneak attacks.

His true challenge was people like Yuji, Todo, and Panda. Nobara, Maki, and Noritoshi Kamo were decent, but they could not pose enough threats to him. Similarly, Inumaki had powerful technique, but he was badly matched against Rudra since his technique was heavily disadvantaged against those who were stronger than Inumaki physically and in cursed energy amount.

Rudra used an appropriate varying amount of his power against his opponents. He used just enough to defeat them without making it so that they were overwhelmed and unable to comprehend new ways to fight and grow.

By the end of the match, Only Yuji and Todo were left fighting against him stubbornly. Rudra kept pressurizing Yuji, allowing him to finally comprehend Black Flash, even ending up using it multiple times consecutively against Rudra.

After seeing it being used multiple times against him, Rudra was able to comprehend Black Flash himself and used a Black Flash of his own in the Hydra Form that buried Todo and Yuji in the ground with severe injuries, ending the match at that point.

However, with Rudra being there nothing was there to worry about. Rudra displayed his mastery over Reverse Cursed Technique for the first time, healing everyone who fought against him and was injured. Seeing him healing people effortlessly like that made even the old principal from Kyoto widen his eyes in shock.

A few days after the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event ended, Rudra was given a piece of pleasant news that he had been expecting since the day he fought and defeated Hanami.

Due to the fact that Rudra had accelerated the defeat of the Cursed Spirits and Cursed Users during the attack on Jujutsu High almost single-handedly, he had impressed a lot of the higher-ups from both Tokyo and Kyoto High. Even without Gojo having to bribe some of his co-workers, Rudra's name was approved for promotion to Grade-1 sorcerer.

For his promotion test, Rudra was assigned a mission to destroy a grade 1 cursed spirit, in a distant village in the rural countryside of Japan, that seemed to be evolving towards the special grade by massacring the hunters and gathers that went into the mountains for their daily livelihood.

Rudra barely took a few days to complete the mission, most of those days involved traveling to that distant village and returning. Disappointingly, he received no new cursed technique from the evolving Grade 1 Cursed Spirit.

With him having successfully completed the mission, Rudra was promoted to Grade 1 without any problems. Following this, he received a notification of Main World Quest completion.

Seeing this notification, Rudra was in a dilemma. His first thought was to curse himself for not having tried to defeat someone like Gojo or Principal Yaga. Both of their Innate Cursed techniques were extremely good ones.

Similarly, he was regretful for not having fought Sukuna when Yuji had eaten his first finger of Sukuna that night. Sukuna's technique was really great as it was simple and was on the borderline of being a technique that had absolute and unavoidable properties.

If Rudra had somehow managed to defeat Sukuna that night, Sukuna's technique would be among the first choices to be turned into a customized skill. Same with Gojo and his Limitless technique, that technique was pretty much a bullshit apocalyptic level technique with no counter.

However, after analyzing things Rudra calmed down a bit. While Gojo and Sukuna's techniques were powerful, they had some limitations too. Gojo's Limitless technique would not have as much might if Rudra didn't have his Six-Eyes technique too. Since he could only have one customized technique, Limitless would have been useless in his hands.

The same was the situation with Sukuna's Cleave and Dismantle techniques. While they were powerful techniques in their own right, Rudra had a feeling that they were so powerful because of Sukuna's innate understanding of how Jujutsu works.

Rudra had a feeling that even if he somehow got those techniques, he won't be able to use them to their full potential the way Sukuna does. He only had a basic understanding of his own cursed techniques at the moment, becoming so strong just because of the power of his cursed techniques rather than his skill at using them.

Not to mention, Rudra would have to create Sukuna's Domain, the Malevolent Shrine, to fully unleash the power of Cleave and Dismantle techniques. Rudra had cold sweat just thinking about the possible number of skill points he would need to create such a powerful domain skill.

Having thought of all this, Rudra was finally able to move past his regret of not having defeated Gojo and Sukuna. He then started thinking about the Innate Cursed Techniques of others he had defeated.

He congratulated himself for having the genius idea of organizing a Battle Royale as an excuse to train Yuji and others before he left the world. While he had done that to make Yuji and the others stronger before he left this world, that good karma was now helping him.

After a lot of deliberation, Rudra shortened the list of techniques he was interested in into four techniques. Inumaki Toge's Cursed Speech Technique, Noritoshi Kamo's Blood Manipulation Technique, Megumi Fushiguro's Ten Shadows Technique, and Mai Zenin's Construction Technique. Each of these techniques had its own benefits and disadvantages.

Cursed Speech reinforces the user's words with cursed energy, which compels the listeners to act or be acted upon based on those words. Cursed speech is activated when the user utters words or commands aloud that are reinforced with cursed energy. This action compels the listener to act or be acted upon as a command.

For example, a cursed speech user can command his opponent to stop moving, or for them to be crushed. The strength of the compulsion depends on the skill level of the user.

The primary strength of cursed speech is its immense versatility due to its techniques being based on language. It is also effective against any opponent. Anyone unaware of how to defend against cursed speech would be helpless against the user's words.

However, overusing cursed speech takes a physical toll on the user's body. The stronger the words used, the worse the side effects are. In the worst-case scenario, cursed speech could backfire on the user and result in sore throats, coughing up blood, and/or losing the ability to speak.

Blood Manipulation is a cursed technique that allows the user to control and shape their blood beyond its natural form or motion for a variety of effects. It can be used to manipulate every aspect of the user's blood, including blood composition, plasma, and red blood cells. Internal and external blood can be utilized as long as it belongs to the user.

Blood can be manipulated in a variety of ways utilizing this technique. External blood can be hardened or shaped to create mid-range projectiles. Internal blood can be used to control one's own pulse rate and body temperature, effectively giving the user of the technique more energy to increase their physical capabilities.

Blood Manipulation's efficiency and strength depend on the user. External blood can also be nullified under specific circumstances where the amount of water in the area renders blood unable to hold any shape. The user is also limited by the amount of their own blood they have access to. Too much blood loss could obviously result in death, so users generally prepare blood bags or weapons dipped in their blood in advance.

Ten Shadows Technique operates by using shadows as an intermediary. This technique allows the user to summon ten different shikigami. By default, the user receives only two contracted shikigami upon the first activation of the technique, the black and white Divine Dogs.

To acquire more shikigami, they have to summon other shikigami with an exorcism ritual and defeat them by their own efforts without help from other Jujutsu Sorcerers. Once dominated, the shikigami are under full control of their master and can be summoned using hand signs that create a shadow puppet of the respective familiar.

The shadows act as the intermediary for the shikigami conjuration, reflecting the shape of the user's hand-weaved shadow puppet and manifesting the shikigami from tangible liquid shadows using cursed energy. After gaining more familiars, the user can repeat the ritual process to exorcise and amass up to ten different shikigami.

The Ten Shadows Technique can be activated and deactivated at any time to manifest and dispel shikigami as long as the user has enough cursed energy. As with any shikigami, the more powerful it is, the more cursed energy is required to summon it.

Shikigami of the ten shadows cannot be summoned again when completely destroyed. However, the power left behind by the shikigami is inherited by others. In the case of the Divine Dog shikigami, if one dies, the other will inherit its power and can be summoned in a far more ferocious form. The exception to this rule is any shikigami that are summoned by combining two different shadows, such as The Well's Unknown Abyss.

Construction allows the user to construct something, from no existing base material, by just using vast amounts of cursed energy. Unlike creating objects within a Domain, things constructed by this technique will be permanent just like real objects, and not disappear once the spell has finished.

However, creating something from nothing uses an immense amount of cursed energy, which results in harsh backlash on the user's body. The amount of cursed energy required for construction depends on the Quality, Quantity, and Complexity of the object created.

It is unknown whether living beings or cursed spirits can be created with this technique. However, based on the rules of the technique, it can be guessed that if such things are possible then the amount of cursed energy required for the process will be astronomical and an impossible task for most Jujutsu Sorcerers.

After organizing information about all these great techniques in his mind, Rudra was faced with an agonizing choice: Which among these techniques should he use for his Customized Skill?
