Astrid went ahead walking by the lake which looked so clean that he could see the bottom the fishes swimming around even turtles it looked as if they are swimming in air Astrid could see his faint shadow at the bottom like mirror he unconsciously reached out to touch the water surface when another shadow emerged by his side

Jinx and Astrid side by side they both looked like tow celestial beings descended from the heavens. Astrid's blond hairs looked like sun while Jinx's silver hairs looked like moon Jinx lips bent in an alluring arc upon which Astrid's heart' beat raised "I thought you might like it since I heard you rarely go out of the elf tribe" Astrid eyed Jinx suspiciously at her word.

"How did you know about that? Were you spying on me?"

Jinx laughed at his words "if I were would I ask to meet the elder seer to know your whereabouts?" Seeing that Astrid still didn't looked convenced she sighed "I had Covy ask around about You so..." Astrid stifled his laugh he didn't knew that one look from him was enough to make this mighty and much powerful being than him to spell her gut which was kind of funny since he was scared of her when they just met.

Astrid "Ji- i mean beast lord I just wanted to make some things clear that Lord beast is just wasting time I cannot be your mate and it doesn't matter what was in the past to me because now my present is different and i don't plan to live a life based on past events" Astrid looked at those golden eyes peering at him with no rage or madness he expected instead there was understanding and a hint of longing something which Astrid failed to understand due to having no knowledge of past.

Covy couldn't freaking understand why would he feel embarrassment by their tussling to be honest he has teased his younger brothers until they end up in tears while laughing when he used to tickle their ears and tail but it was so weird when he tickled Indis just now when he recalled that bashful expression on that delicate face as if he was being bullied his heat rose up on his face suddenly he couldn't look straight at that fairy playing in the water so he turned his head away.

Jinx saw his fiddling behaviour which made her worried if someone has followed them or something since there were many enemies waiting for a chance to take her life because she killed the wolf god but she wasn't really worried about her own she was worried about the safety of her little charmer. "What happened?" Although it was a simple question Covy could hear the worries behind that tone.

That could almost be interpreted as why the fuck are you so restless is something going on are we going to get ambushed or something? But to Astrid his dreams left him feeling anxious and scared he saw a beutiful silver haired elf with crown and jwellery adorned with gems and pearls that elf had blue eyes just like him but his hairs were the colour same as Jinx he was sitting on the cloud and staring below. From the top of his hair to his feet he looked like an ethereal being celestial being from heaven but one can see the hint of worry as those gentle brow furrowed lightly.

" it looks like God of elf Liriel enjoys looking at the jokes of universe."

The little delicate figure of elf stiffened before letting out a throaty chuckle as he turned to see the much larger than his size wolf man looking down at him with a hint of Contempt clear in his eyes but the elf god Liriel didn't mind his gaze his beautiful cherry red lips curving into a gentle polite smile.

"I didn't realise that wolf god Clovis likes to call his own people joke of universe?" His voice was light and gentle like breeze which sounded calm and comfortable to ones ear but his words were sharper than knife as the wolf god clinched his jaw in frustration "weak and stupid people are meant to be called Joke of universe if it was up to me i would have directly erased such existence hump."

The melodious sound of a chuckle sounded from the silver haired elf as he shifted his gaze down the clouds once again "I think our defination of weak and strong are different don't you think God Clovis?" The big wolf god with black hairs and a scar runing down his face equipped with heavy armour scoffed "how so please enlighten me God Liriel?"

The silver elf just shook his head at the arrogant and proud tone heaving a sigh it was clear that someone who thinks with swords cannot understand someone who has known the emotions and matter of heart deeply these two types simply will not be able to hold any conversation.

"Weak are those who don't understand that material Power is fickle it can be stripped but if you have a stubborn nature and power of your will one can become undefeatable."

The wolf God let out a mocking laugh turning around to walk on his merry way without even bidding a proper farewell to the other God which can only be said is being rude but the elf god didn't say anything just continuing to look down with a fond gaze "So charming i wonder if her name is Jinx?"

Just then something heavy crashed on his stomach making him jolt up from his sleep as he cursed loudly"Fuck!" He blinked and looked at the red haired elf laying there like a corpse as if he didn't have any sleep just when he was about to ask what happened another hit came his way as he was K.O. by a tight hand slap on his back head.

Astrid grumbled an apology which fell on deaf ears "what did you say?" Astrid got frustrated "i said I am sorry! Now leave me alone gosh! What a way to make someone's day worst!" His mother laughed at his childishness as she rubbed the place she hit two seconds ago "you two get up and come down and eat something I'll be waiting ok?" Astrid nodded his head as Indis just gave a thumbs up. Astrid got into the shower remembering about what he dreamt he could recall the vague sentence and some broken images of sliver hairs and a big wolf with black hairs he didn't know why he felt a little uneasy when he recalled the voice and the big intimidating wolf but shrugging it off as just wolf being a normal fear in his life.

He could clearly remember the last line he heard was "so charming i wonder if her name is Jinx?" Damn. He sighed to himself feeling a little frustrated at how much the alpha's presence has affected him when he isn't even an wolf let alone an omega he threw some clothes on and walked out heading down to have something to eat as a indis followed behind him with staggering steps that he almost fell down from stairs.

Indis almost choked on his food drinking water as Astrid patted his back with an expressionless face as his mouth was still filled with nuts from the saled like a squirrel which earned him another slap on his head faced by the ferocious glare of most dangerous being on earth called mother he swallowed the green veggies piling on the one side of his plate as Indis continued to cough making his aunty worried "or is it that you like them but they don't like you back? Indis quickly lifted his hand stopping her before she imagines more crazy stuff "No! I was just not able to sleep because I had nightmare so I woke up in the middle of night and wasn't able to fall asleep! Also There is no one I like!" Since he was so hell bent on not liking anyone Mrs.Maya changed her target to the squirrel who was forced to munch on the bitter veggies.

Mrs.Maya was curious to know how was the dating thing going she actually hoped that her son could give that fine lady a chance since she herself saw how powerful and capable that beast lord is as far as the thing that she is wolf that doesn't matter she never held the grudge of her husband's death on the entire race humans do this almost everyday killing and hunting for food or money or even just fun to these being they are like animals too but just like good humans there are good wolf and elf the example being her husband and the beast lord so what that she saved them because Astrid was her mate the fact that she gave her the last tribute her husband's heart to her she felt that that lady is kind even when she doesn't show it.

Astrid whose plate turned into some kind of magic tool as the nuts and dry fruits appeared out of thin air when he looked up and was meet with his mother's curious gaze suddenly he felt his throat was blocked and he wouldn't be able to swallow those things down his throat "hehe.. suddenly i feel like i am not hungry anymore" this made Indis laugh he really liked screwing Astrid up like this.

Indis was currently teasing him on the question she asked the most "Are you attracted to her good looks or not? She carefully stepped Astrid down before sitting besides him the sun was sitting covering the whole sky in pink and orange colour the street lights were switched on with the sun rays disappearing as the dark night descended in the sky when one looked from the heights it was like there were star's on the ground as well as in the sky it gave one a weird feeling as if they are so alone at the top but as well how beautiful the world looked from afar.

Astrid finally understood why Jinx brought him here she really wasn't the one who could say cheesy things that's what he realised so far but she would often say blush inducing things without realising not only that but if she cares it's mostly shown in her actions Astrid turned to look at her only to meet by a scene which took his breath away.

Fireworks were set in the sky among the bright light there she was staring into the sky with her golden eyes she looked lonely and distant like a child who wants to be held badly but doesn't want to show weakness hence would rather be strong all by themself this sight was alluring yet tugged at the strings of his heart before he could realise it he leaned his face so close only few inches separating them.
