Due to the tumultuous event happened in the 2nd District, a young thief with an extrasensory perception got lost in the Palace. A palace where the Monarchs, the phenomenal Prince, and the great echelons live. The place where elites are loved, and homeless people like her are not welcomed. Status is important in the kingdom of Eufrata. Paupers can't even step into the palace. Bad luck or as it is, the Kingdom is looking for the precious stones. So in order to get out safely and save her fellow paupers, she needs to escape. But she only have two options; Sneak out and be killed by the sentries or join the team and look for the stones. She's stuck in a dangerous struggle and grievous mission. She needs to choose. She lives no Queen nor a princess, she doesn't belong to any royalties. She isn't great as the echelons, she ain't elite either. She doesn't live a normal life, she is not just a normal girl. Because she belongs to the lowest group in kingdom. She is a pauper. But she is extraordinary. Her perception is supernatural, and she is more than that. Will she be able to survive in a breathtaking atmosphere between elites and paupers? Is there a chance for a hopeless romantic between a pauper and an elite? How is she going to survive if she finds out that her capabilities are more than of what she expected? Will she survive when THE SEARCH begins?

CHAPTER 27

"Mali ata ang lugar na napuntahan natin." Mahinang saad ni Greyson.

"Both sides has it's own creature. We need to find a precious stone before it gets mad." Bulong ko.

"Right, let's search." said Chrysler.

"Kailangan talaga dahan-dahan?" Greyson asked.

"Yes of course. And if you're not sure about a thing, don't touch it."

"But baby, I want fast and hard."

Kaunti nalang mapipikon na ako sa mga pinagsasabi nitong si Greyson. Walang ibang alam kundi puro kamanyakan. Maingat akong naghanap sa paligid, siniguro kong huwag makagawa ng malakas na ingay upang huwag magising ang nilalang na nasa aming harapan.

Come on, there must be something here.

"I think, I found something." Bulong ni Greyson.

"What is it Grey?" Tanong ni Chrysler.

"I am not sure, but..."

My heart thumped loud as a loud thump traveled the cave as if something fell.

I stiff when the flashlight created a loud noise as it fell to the ground.

"This is insane." Saad ko at mariing pumikit. How can this boys be so careless?

"What did you see Greyson?" pasigaw na tanong ni Chrysler.

"Wait, where is my flashlight? Oh there."

Hinayaan kong mag-usap ang dalawang lalaki, habang ako ay binabantayan ko ang halimaw na dahan dahang nagigising dahil sa aming ingay.

What am I doing?

"Guys.. guys.." tawag ko sa dalawang lalaki na busy sa paghahanap ng mga batong hiyas. Tumayo na ang malaking halimaw. Tingin ko'y sukat lamang ako ng talampakan nito. Ang mga mata nito ay nakaharap kanila Chrysler. Once it open, I need to do something.

"Guys.." The flashlight thundered a loud noise again. Why are these boys so careless? At dahil doon ay tuluyang nagmulat ang mga mata ng halimaw.

OH SHIT.

Mabilis akong nag-isip ng paraan. Maraming batong matutulis rito, gagamitin ko iyon upang ma distract ko ang halimaw sa mga lalaking naghahanap ng bato. Malakas kong hinugot ang matulis na bato na aking nakita, nasugatan pa ako bago ko ito nakuha. Pumatak ang butil ng aking dugo sa lupa. At dahil doon ay mabilis na napalingon sa akin ang halimaw.

"Good.. that's good." kinakabahan kong bulong.

"What the hell are you doing?" Sigaw ni Chrysler. sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. I mouthed don't-mind-me but yet he didn't listen.

Mabilis siyang nagpakawala ng usok sa kanyang mga kamay at inilayo ako sa paningin ng halimaw. Ngunit malakas ang amoy ng aking dugo, hindi gumana ang usok dahil sininghot lang ito ng halimaw. I can be seen by the beast again.

"Baby, don't move.." Kalmadong saad ni Greyson. Paano nila nagagawang maging kalmado sa sitwasyong ito? "Greyson.." Bulong ko. Natatakot na naman ako. "Shh, baby. I'm gonna get you, don't move." Tumango ako bilang pagtugon.

Chrysler is doing something while Greyson is slowly walking into my place to get me. The beast isn't wild yet, and it's good atleast we can still run.

I aimed my bow and arrow to shoot the beast ngunit mas lalo lamang itong naging paraan upang tumulo ang aking dugo.

The beast thundered the cave by it's loud groan.

"Run baby, run!" Sigaw ni Greyson at inabot ang kamay ko. Agad akong tumakbo patungo sa kanya atsaka inabot ang kamay niya. Pagkatapos ay hinila niya ako upang mabilis kaming makatakbo palayo sa halimaw.

Tuluyan nang bumangon ang halimaw at halos magiba ang pader at kinatatayuan nito dahil sa laki nito.

"Shit!"

"Chrysler faster! Throw the bomb already!" sigaw ni Greyson.

"Sabay tayong sasabog oras na itapon ko ito!" sigaw naman ni Chrysler.

"Then just run!" Sigaw ko.

Pagkatapos ay sabay sabay kaming tumakbo palayo sa halimaw. Dahil na rin sa bigat at laki nito ay nahirapan itong makalabas na lungga nito upang habulin kami. Gayunpaman sapat na ang lakas nito upang matabunan kami ng mga bato na galing sa kweba.

"Run fast, itatago ko kayo sa usok ko!" Sigaw ni Chrysler.

"How about you?" I asked.

"Don't mind me, I can handle myself!" Sagot nito atsaka kinindatan ako. Stupid. Nagawa pang kumindat ang lintek!

"Please make sure to come back with us alive." Bulong ko.

Bakas ang gulat sa kanyang mukha ng sabihin ko iyon.

"Let's go." Seryosong saad ni Greyson.

Tumakbo kaming muli saktong pagdako namin sa nilikuan nila Corinthians ay lumabas na rin sila. "Nakakuha ba kayo?" Tarantang saad ni Corinthians.

"Don't mind it, let's go!" Sigaw ni Greyson. Sumunod naman kami agad sakanya atsaka tumakbong muli. Nagigiba na ang sulok na pinanggalingan namin.

How about Chrysler?

And the Prince?

Kasama ba namin ang prinsipe?

Hindi kaya sila natabunan?
