*** This story will be temporarily on hold. I am sorry to my readers if I can't continue to write this at the moment. I plan to finish The Royal Contract first this month before continuing to write this one. Again, I am asking for your understanding. Due to financial reasons, I need to write a new book for now. A Contract to Marry the Cold-hearted CEO I hope you will give it a try. Thanks again for reading my stories. *** Little girls dreamed of sparkling tiaras and fancy gowns. Little boys wanted to drive fast cars. Well, could she have both? And the father she had never met as a bonus. Luisa was the spunky, street-smart girl next door that wanted her life to have meaning. She lived her life like she was not exceptional except when she was behind the wheel, racing for the finish line. But was that all she wanted? One day, a man dressed up in an impeccable suit came up to her and told her she was a princess, heir to the throne. Insane, right? He was a prince and a successful tycoon who almost had everything except one thing. He wanted the crown. But he had no birthright to rule the Kingdom. Until he discovered there was another way for him to become King. However, he had to agree to the conditions and convince his future Queen of his plans. Easy, right? Would an arrangement be the solution to what they both desire? Would Luisa submit to what Liam proposed? Or would they get more than what they bargained for in the end? Note: This story is related to the Royal Contract book. Still, it is a standalone story. There is no need to read the other book to understand it. Her body felt cramped, seemingly as if confined in a tiny space. But that was not all. She sensed something different. Blaring loud music filled her ears, waking her up from deep slumber.
She wondered what was wrong with her. Lately, all she did was have restless nights. Her subconscious thoughts seemed to work overtime. Mostly she dreamt about a man, but a few times, her mind also ventured to other things.
She opened her eyes, finding herself inside a room. How did she move from the library to the bedroom? The last thing she remembered was looking around the collections of books, finding everything she saw fascinating.
Portraits hung on the walls as she gazed around her. Of course, she did not recognize most of them except the Count, who had a lovely lady in his arms. She also found a family picture on the table. She presumed it was Liam when he was a child, with his parents and a young girl holding onto his hands.
