The Royal Arrangement

*** This story will be temporarily on hold. I am sorry to my readers if I can't continue to write this at the moment. I plan to finish The Royal Contract first this month before continuing to write this one. Again, I am asking for your understanding. Due to financial reasons, I need to write a new book for now. A Contract to Marry the Cold-hearted CEO I hope you will give it a try. Thanks again for reading my stories. *** Little girls dreamed of sparkling tiaras and fancy gowns. Little boys wanted to drive fast cars. Well, could she have both? And the father she had never met as a bonus. Luisa was the spunky, street-smart girl next door that wanted her life to have meaning. She lived her life like she was not exceptional except when she was behind the wheel, racing for the finish line. But was that all she wanted? One day, a man dressed up in an impeccable suit came up to her and told her she was a princess, heir to the throne. Insane, right? He was a prince and a successful tycoon who almost had everything except one thing. He wanted the crown. But he had no birthright to rule the Kingdom. Until he discovered there was another way for him to become King. However, he had to agree to the conditions and convince his future Queen of his plans. Easy, right? Would an arrangement be the solution to what they both desire? Would Luisa submit to what Liam proposed? Or would they get more than what they bargained for in the end? Note: This story is related to the Royal Contract book. Still, it is a standalone story. There is no need to read the other book to understand it. Chapter 194

She was expecting that not all mothers quickly like the woman their son was marrying, but not the outright blatant display of dislike her soon-to-be mother-in-law was giving her.

"I did not even know you have a heart, my darling son." She jokingly said with a dramatic laugh. "Be careful, my little dove. This one might end up breaking yours." Looking directly at her as if she meant that to be a warning.

"My son doesn't do love." She whispered conspiratorially near her ears when she leaned forward.

She only smiled, uncertain how she should respond to that. But she wondered if the woman was even his mother. How could she say that about his son, even if it sounded like a joke? No wonder Liam never talked about her.

She could not help but think about his father. What was he like? Was he remotely like his mother? What was Liam's relationship with his parents? She was suddenly curious.
