MALENA’S POV:

Now that I can be up in the daylight I feel like I am an immortal. I feel like I have more power now, rather than before. It seemed like all I did was sleep before. Micah and I can do many things together now. He asked me if I wanted to go into town, but I didn't answer him just yet because I must think about this. I haven’t been anywhere except to this cave and the waterfall. I think to myself, “How will I react in town? Will I be normal? Will people look at me in a weird way?” I don’t know if I’m ready yet.
