Today's opponent was the Saint Paul Missionary High School, a team notorious for their frustrating tactics and relentless trash talk. As Jamar and his team warmed up, they couldn't help but notice the imposing presence of their rivals. Leading the charge was Arnold Dumar, known as Rascal, a cunning point guard with a sharp tongue. Beside him was Marvin Phillips, or Little Menace, a shooting guard who lived up to his nickname with his relentless aggression. Towering over them all was Freddy Saint, the seven-foot Gut Buster, whose sheer size and strength made him a formidable adversary at the center position.
"Stay focused," Coach Anderson reminded them as they huddled together. "We know their game. Don't let them get into your heads. Play smart, and play our game."
