Chapter 42: Surprise

"... What is it?" Yue bargained and sat on Nader's lap with her hands around his neck and her legs around his waist.

Licking her lips seductively, she looked straight into his eyes as if she wanted to steal his soul.

Even though she was mentally tired after all the hot shenanigans they had been up to for many hours in bed, she still wanted to go further.

She couldn't help it, after all, she was so in love with Nader that every time she saw him, she wanted to take him straight to bed for endless sex; that was her way of expressing her boundless and everlasting love for him.

Nader's situation was no better than Yue's, so before he started, he brought his face close to hers. Nader's hot breath caressed the tip of Yue's nose. The intoxicating heterochromatic eyes gazing lovingly at her melted Yue's heated body, which couldn't hold her arousal any longer and shortened the distance.

"Mmmpf..." Their lips locked, and their tongues collided on the battlefield, dancing and teasing each other.

"Here." Nader didn't explain and directly, with a snap of his fingers, pulled out a sphere that appeared floating above his palm.

The room, which was previously illuminated with the soothing silver moonlight peeking through the window panes, now gained another shade of illumination.

A shade of color that looked like the walls of the room had been painted by tiny, colorful reddish and bluish stars; just like the night painted by the bubbling stars.

¡?! Yue was startled at the scene before her.

The source of it was floating inside the crystal sphere; a mini spiral-shaped galaxy was spinning in the palm of one hand. Myriads of stars were bathed in something that looked like stardust, giving it a bluish color.

At this sight, Yue's crimson eyes could not help but be instantly spellbound. For her, it was the first time she had witnessed something so wondrous yet magnificent.

The figure inside the crystal ball seemed to give off a majestic aura. It was an art that could only be described as "divine".

Yue could not contain herself and, like a ghost, she reached over and snatched the crystal ball from Nader's hand.

Her beautiful crimson eyes reflected the colorful reddish and bluish hues of what appeared to be a galaxy.

"Hey, are you salivating?" interrupted Nader with a strange look.

Yue was so immersed in Nader's figure that she didn't notice when a thin line of saliva escaped from the corners of her lips and curved into a smile.

Seeing and holding a mini-Nader in front of her, in her own hands, was extremely tender to her. Yue had a hobby of creating ice sculptures in the shape of Nader, however, nothing she had made before could even come close to the cute figure she now held in her small hands.

Only after a few seconds, did Yue snap out of her trance and quickly wiped her saliva with her arms before pressing the glass container lovingly against her chest.

"Fufu... Nader, you're so cute. You can't complain about turning me on."

"Wow, is that so?" Nader smiled at Yue as he tried to grab her arm and kiss her.

However, she, smiling seductively, dodged him and pounced on Nader before crushing her lips on his.

"Hey, at least give me space to explain the features of the amulet."

"Mmm... you were the one who started it."

"Oh…".

After a passionate, long kiss that lasted a good handful of minutes, satisfied, Yue settled into Nader's lap and listened intently to his explanation.

As Nader explained the percentage of attribute increase in stats, as well as the passive abilities the amulet possessed, he deliberately omitted the positive effect of the passive skill "Physical Immunity" against side effects.

The reason was that he wanted it to be a pleasant surprise for Yue. Nader couldn't wait to witness the expression his little vampire would show when she realized that bit by bit, with each passing day, she was getting bigger...

Yue looked with pleasant surprise at the beautiful amulet glittering in her palm. To say the least, the current amulet was already a heaven-defying divine treasure, however, Nader was not satisfied and would improve it further!

It was well known that he already possessed a 20% increase in all her base stats due to the title obtained after consuming Nader's delicious blood. However, now she got another stat increase; adding with the above, she now possessed 50% more in all her parameters!

Of course, the 50% more in base stats seemed small in comparison to skills such as «Limit Break» or the derived skill that multiplied the base stats by ×3 and ×5 respectively. However, in the future, both the title «Throne» and the newly crafted amulet could be improved and show the extent of the power to the world.

Smiling at Nader's narcissistic and proud comment, Yue put the surrounding necklace on a milky neck.

Yue gasped with joy as she felt her powers increase greatly. But that was not the source of the surprise, for she had already expected it. She had the strange sensation that a chain that had hitherto held her bound was being unleashed.

Although she didn't know what it was, before she could ask Nader about it, a soft light surrounded Yue's body.

Alarmed by this, Nader quickly inspected his beloved's body, and in the next instant, his expression changed to one of surprise...

The light on Yue's body quickly expanded, and when a few seconds passed, the light retracted again, revealing a surprised Yue looking at her hand.
