“Twisted Minds”
The group travelled through the forests, Uvie being a chatterbox the entire time, talking about random stories or complete nonsense, Reece gritting her teeth as she did.
"Will you shut up back there!?"
She shouted, everyone startled from her random outburst, as Reece's flesh deformed to cover Uvie's mouth, shutting her up.
"Alright, now let me explain what happened.."
Nico and Kiara nodded, walking closer as they were quite intrigued. It wasn't Nico's first time being in a different world, but there was just something off about this one.
"So, a doll named Morell randomly appeared and joined me in overthrowing the throne, since she had some crazy powers and stuff. She got a ring, like you, which kinda boosted her ego I guess. Then when she got her hands on another ring she went crazy and shit.."
Nico looked down at his rings. Putting on a second ring already caused him immense pain, it was horrifying thinking of what it'd do to a normal person.
"Typically when people wear two rings it tears their soul apart. Since Morell's a special case with her soul it tore apart her mind instead. She wears the rings of Darkness, and Space.. And what are your rings, Nico?"
Evan asked. Borh his rings glowed as he formed both his red energy, and vibrations at his fingertips.
"Pain, and sound. I haven't really mastered either of them.. I can control my Ring of Pain unless it's in the heat of the moment."
Evan nodded, digging into his pocket with a smirk.
"I got something for that..!"
He took a small capsule of a strange black liquid out his pocket, Bennett slapped it out of his hand, following by flicking him in the forehead
"Hey, have you ever thought that putting robots in Morell's head might've added to the cause of her head getting fucked up?"
Evan sighed as he crossed his arms.
"I can still analyze his rings and figure out how to use them properly. We'll have to get back to my lab for that.."
Reece shushed them. They were such an odd group, Nico looking to them in confusion, before back to Kiara who just shrugged.
"Say, you said you're friend's name is Morell, right..?"
Kiara asked, Reece looking back to them with a nod. Nico's eyes widened, as he exclaimed.
"I met a creepy doll named Morell before, she put some curse on my sword, or something.."
Nico unsheathed his sword, the others seeming to instantly notice the text on it, a bit surprised. Nico then activTed it, the blade turning into a portal as demonic hands sprouted out.
Reece gasped as she quickly snatched the sword from him.
"This is one of Morell's abilities! Quick, what does she look like..!?"
Nico stuttered from her sudden question.
"Uh..- She.. she had black hair and wore red lipstick..- She dressed in one of those Chineses dresses, whatever they're called, I dunno..!"
Reece smiled, knowing that Morell was fine, and that Nico knew where she was last.
"Great..! So you know where she was.. Tell me, tell me..! Where was she..!"
Everyone stopped as Reece was acting like an excited kid asking for candy, Nico scratching his neck as he realized that he might've killed Morell.
"Well, I was in this other world where everything was red, with weird monsters, and some big demon guy named Malik.. I kinda.. destroyed the entire world, so I don't know where Morell is."
Reece went from happy to instantly upset, about to punch Nico before a suddenly shout was heard.
"WHAT!?"
Uvie had bursted through the flesh restraining her, angered as she glared at Nico, walking up to him as she grabbed him by his shirt, pulling him down to her level.
"You destroyed MY world!? You don't even seem like you care..! You killed all my people..!"
Nico shook his head, pushing Uvie back as he placed his hand on his new sword, the gem in it glowing red.
"You're from there..!?!?! Your people are fine, they all escaped into my world, and all given places to stay.. The only people I killed there was Malik and that one dude who's outfit I stole."
Uvie got all pouty as she slapped Nico, literally causing him to spin.
"Doesn't matter, my worlds still destroyed and you still killed 2 of my people..! For shame.!"
Reece tried to restrain Uvie once again, but quickly stopped her attempt as Uvie glared back at her, her face hidden in shadows giving her a nightmarish appearance.
"Now that I'm free, I'll just fly you back to the citty..! But I want everyone to apologize to me first."
Reece shook her head, poking Uvie hard in the chest.
"I shouldn't applogize to you at a-"
Blood could be seen splattering into the air, everyones' eyes widened as Reece's hand was sliced off cleanly, falling into the air.
"Apologize."
Uvie grinned widely as she caught the hand, putting it back in place as it healed instantly, as if it was never cut off in the first place.
Reece gulped, looking around with a worried expression, everyone else worried to as they nodded, all saying "sorry" at the same time.
Uvie's scary smile came more of a kind one as she pat Reece's head. She stood back, her skin turning red before she became a giant, monstrous bird, her feathers red as her eyes were pits of darkness.
She let out an ear piercing bird screech before spreading her wings, gesturing for them to get on. With caution they climbed onto her back, one by one. Everyone seeming neevous once thry were on top.
Red vines came out of Uvie's back, surving as seatbelts as they wrapped around everyones' laps, keeping them seated. Uvie then flapped her wings and flew up into the air, flying forth at high speeds.
It took everyone a bit to get used to the high speeds, screaming and shouting as Uvie twisted and spun in the air. Only two stayed calm, being Kiara and Kafka.
"Oh my..! I don't feel too disturbed as a doll.. but you being a human, how are you so calm in this situation..?"
Kafka asked, Kiara slightly smiling as she pointed to her head.
"I'm a bit of a mess mentally, a lot of my disorders and such make me not conceptualize my condition properly.."
Kafka nodded, the both giggling through everyone's screaming. Uvie eventually slowed down and stayed upright, everyone catching their breath.
A creepy distorted face formed on Uvie's back, it's mouth and eyes being complete darkness as it spoke in a deep, distorted voice.
"We've arrived.. though there seems to be an issue…"
The face chuckled before disappearing, everyone confused on what it meant before looking down, the city below them, as fired and explosions were seen, screams subtly heard.
"Well shit.. again..?"
Reece sighed, it seems they were used to destruction in the city as she looked back at Nico and Kiara.
"Well.. Welcome to The Nameless City."
