Honest Lives pt.2

After meeting the whole family with Jack and Anthony through games and dancing, The whole family, including Jack, had to sit down and watch the news. The main headline was the biggest bank in Mexico shutting down. Because everybody's money was stolen, The financial group had no choice but to shut down. Millions and millions of people had to look for new banks to trust the same way they trusted the financial group. "Lemme guess. The Jocks did this?" Primo Diego asked. He was around Anthony's age. He handed Anthony a drink while Anthony had looked at Jack. The leader of The Jocks. "Wha- What do you think of them?" Asked Anthony. "Surely they couldn't be that bad..." He muttered as he remembered the Desante war. "They killed Desante!" Diego shouted.

It seemed that Desante was somehow connected with Anthony's family. He was a really close family friend which everyone had loved. The family didn't know his Ulterior motives which ended up with Isabel Rodriguez, Anthony's mother, getting killed. Desante, instead of listening to the family's stories, decided to kill Anthony's mother which caused him to get killed. "Desante? How did you guys know him?" Anthony asked as he shifted closer to the older one. "Desante was a really close friend here. If it weren't for him, no one would know how we were the first Mexican settlers in the united states." Abuela Olivia stated. little did the family know about "poor" Desante.

Anthony and Jack had decided to "call it a night" and they headed to their room. "How the hell was Desante a family friend?!" Anthony asked. "Look, calm down," Jack said. "Maybe they met each other while you were still in Mexico with your mom." Anthony kept walking back and forth. "If they found out that I killed Desante, they'll kill me." He shouted. Diego had looked at Anthony and Jack in a suspicious way before they left. He then lied and also said that he was going to sleep. However, he was following Anthony. The 2 closed the door. Diego squatted so that he should listen to the conversation. "How the hell did they even bother to meet Desante?!" Anthony shouted. "Look, calm down," Jack said. Anthony continued panting and walking back and forth. "If they found out that we killed Desante, we're screwed!" Diego had gasped and the gasp made him fall. The 2 had heard a thud by the door and when Anthony opened it, no one was there. He then closed the door and the 2 slept.

The next day, Diego, instead of walking to Anthony and trying to find out the true story, ran to Abuela and told her what he had heard and she was deeply furious. "Bring him down here." She said. Anthony then came downstairs. "Good morning, Abuela!" he said happily. "When were you going to tell me that you killed Desante?" She asked with her anger rising. Anthony was going crazy. He thought to himself, "That thud... There was someone listening to our conversation and they decided to snitch. Typical family." He then said, "Look Abuela, if you could just-" Abuela didn't want anything about the conversation. "Get out. NOW!!!" She shouted. Anthony began crying. "Before I leave, I wanted to let you know that it was him that killed Mama! She's dead because of your family friend! If you had let me say what I wanted to say, none of this would've happened! It's fine, I'll leave But, never forget that your family friend killed someone that was your blood." Immediately, Abuela froze! The rest of the family was listening to the conversation. "You mean to tell me that Isabel died?" Sasha said. "My very own sister? My one and only sister? To Desante?" She added as a tear formed under her eye. Anthony had turned around and had looked at the family. He nodded then looked down. It was only now that Jack woke up As he was coming downstairs, he found everyone crying because of Isabel's death. He found Anthony comforting his Abuela. He also tried comforting the rest of the family before heading to Anthony.

Sandra then stopped crying. "Everyone, stop crying." She said. "Let us not live in pain and suffering. May we please find the time to at least celebrate her death?" Everyone nodded. They all removed their tears and Anthony removed Abuela's tears. Jack had done the same with Anthony and he hugged him tightly to symbolize how he was never leaving his side.

"Ok," Anthony said. "What we need to do right now is to figure out how we're going to do this." Jack then walked out of the house and called a few of his connections to try and help around with setting up a traditional party for the family. He then walked in again. "No matter. Everything's covered." He said.

The house was deeply perfect and everyone looked so happy. Abuela had called Anthony so that they could talk in a more quiet place. She began apologizing for how she reacted after hearing what had happened to his mother because of Desante. She told Anthony how Diego was listening to their conversations and fortunately, he let Diego off with a warning. They then continued having the best time of their lives which ended up with the party that had more than 200 people ending at 6:00 AM. The kids ended up skipping school because they couldn't go after such a huge party. People helped the family clean and they found Anthony under Jack and they were sleeping. Sandra took a photo and vowed to never delete it as she was laughing.

When Jack and Anthony woke up, people kept asking the 2 how their sleep was and they looked confused but, they told them that they slept well and they made breakfast for the family. Sandra then left the house because she had work too and David had done the same. Jack, Anthony, Abuela, Diego, and the kids had stayed. They continued having fun for the day
